It was fine. There for two nights. Wasn't there for a hotel experience.

Every member of the staff was exceptional! The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Although it was packed for the holiday, it was still quiet.

Overall our experience was good. The overall appearance of the hotel was good and the staff was incredible. It was within walking distance to the downtown, about 20-30 minute walk. The only concern we had was the staff didn't thouroughly clean out room. There were patches of dust and after telling them it didn't get cleaned the next day

Great staff and wonderful location! Get to all the sites rather quickly!

Unlike a couple reviewers who may live in suburbs or on a farm and would be uncomfortable in most urban settings, I found the location to be perfect. Sure, I could have booked on the Riverwalk, but that would have cost twice as much. Furthermore, I verified online that this area has very low incidents. This area is practically across the street from a police station, and I felt safe enough in this area to walk to El Mercado and back at dusk/night. Parking was ample and the courteous front desk staff (whom always greeted me as I entered or exited the hotel) gladly stowed my bags and allowed me to leave my car beyond checkout as I walked downtown area. I did not use the pool, but it existed. On the other hand, I relished in the breakfast. It wasn't the best hotel breakfast in the world, but they offered turkey and pork sausage options with scrambled and hardboiled egg as well as yogurt, cereals, waffles etc. They nailed the breakfast in my book. Most trips I dont care because I plan to try local cuisine, but I was site seeing San Antonio in one day and didnt want to invest time in a diner and dread idea of fast food. The Bed was adequately comfortable, appeared clean enough and decently updated. Could use a better TV, stronger WiFi and recaulked bathtub, but very minor issues when balanced with value. This stay was remarkable because I booked a King Size NONsmoking room for under $100 (pretax) that met my expectations.

Hotel is very close to Alamo and Riverwalk; breakfast was good and fresh; room was clean and comfortable; the bed was the best; I rested well which is why we had this getaway! I have no complaints whatsoever! And last, but certainly, not lease, the respresntative, Falesha P, was exceptional, in every capacity...

From the minute that I stepped at this hotel, I was welcomed by a very helpful and friendly staff. Mr. Allan to the time to ask me about my day and if I needed help with anything. The room was just super clean and I would definitely stay with them again in my next trip to San Antonio!

I needed some time away from my house and this was the perfect place to get away. I love the fact that's it's near downtown. The staff was very helpful and the room was very presentable and I was pleased. I hope I can come back in the future.

Good ..Very clean..good customer service . great location

Construction Construction Construction...need i say more??!! Had to walk across the street to the next Mariott to have breakfast, tiny tiny exercise room, tiny rooms and bathrooms. Not worth the money! Lady at the desk was very nice however and apologetic, but it made nothing about the stay better. Stil, She was the best thing they had going for them!

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. Room comes with frig & microwave & free wifi, which is nice. Didn't get to try the indoor pool but noticed it was crowded with kids one night. Breakfast was OK but very crowded. Only problem was last morning when a bill for a movie appeared under our door. We did NOT watch their movie. Took it to desk mgr and the reversed charges.

My hotel experience with The Fairfield Inn and Suites was awesome. From the front desk to my stay in the room couldn't have gotten any better. The staff is very pleasant. Your complimentary breakfast included everything anyone could want for breakfast. I would definetely refer this hotel to anyone traveling to San Antonio.

Overall great experience. Very friendly customer service. Enjoyed the indoor pool.

Our stay was great! The only problem that we encountered was that we stayed on the first floor right next to the pool, so we couldn't really sleep in because of children yelling in the pool. But other than that it was great!

Great staff. Clean Room. Close to everything in San Antonio.

Pros: Normal clean hotel room. Walkable to Riverwalk. Has indoor pool. Cons: Breakfast as overcrowded (long line and hard to get a seat) and the food was below average. The walk to Riverwalk is through a not-so-desirable area.

Overall the Hotel was outstanding and in a good location. I will recommend this Hotel to my friends.

My children and me stayed here one night of our trip. It was nice and clean and was an okay value. I felt it was a little pricey for being as far away as it was from the River Walk. A few minor issues that weren’t hotel related. We stayed on the first floor and the people in the room a floor above us were extremely noisy and loud into the early morning hours. Overall it was a positive experience and I would recommend the hotel. The room was very clean and met all of our expectations. However, next time we will probably stay on the River Walk.

We had three rooms for an overnight stay with the whole family. Good value for the money. Decently near the Riverwalk. although you do have to go in car. It was a far away walk for the older people in our group. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed.

Our hotel stay was overall pleasant. Quick check in and check out. The free breakfast had a small selection of pour it yourself waffles and Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches. Took off some stars for being placed in the room next to the swimming pool (open 7am to 10 pm). We had no problems with the groups staying until 10 pm but it was not fun to wake up to someone playing Marco Polo at 7am.
