I didn't like the bed or pillows and the toilet was to low and to close to the wall. Not comfortable at all

This is a "once great" property which is in serious need of an infusion of capital to either preserve its architectural flair or update it to fulfill its MASSIVE potential. Its location can't be beat ... short and attractive walk to the heart of the Riverwalk "scene." Although the center of San Antonio is fun, it is a pain to deal with with a car. Best on foot as this place provides. The property had lots of activities and wildlife (plants and animals) was visable and incorportated places. The kids liked it. Pool was nice. Super-friendly and helpful staff! It was all just a little worn at the heal, scruffy, etc. Will visit again ... but might not be able to swing the price it will eventually be worth ;-) Had an adventure this time though! Thanks.

Ran down property. Expensive for what was offered. Construction crew will wake you up at 4:00AM. Dirty or dingy everything. Expensive parking ($29/night).

The ad said 2 queen beds we got 2 full size beds. Carpet was stained. Only 2 sets of towells for the first night. Cheap soap and amenities. Not able to get a handicap room when toilet was discovered to be to low with no support for elderly to get up. Room was in a maintensnce area. Price negotiated should get us a good room in a nice part of the hotel. Not a low pric in the cheapest or oldest part of the hotel. Will not go here again. Orbitz should negotiate better deals.

The place was clean and the staff was nice and inviting. The rooms where clean and comfortable. The rooms lacked small updates such as usb plugs. Everything these else was great.

The decor was very pretty & tropical feeling. The rooms could use some updating for sure, but overall, was a nice layout & environment.

Great and friendly staff. Really small beds, unheated pool, and not a great restaurant selection in comparison to neighboring hotels

Lobby was beautiful, what I did not like was it was not free breakfast included like stated on line, rooms were super small and staff did not know directions anywhere.

It’s more like a up scale motel 6 and all. Restroom vent didn’t work so Showering in hot water steam stays in restroom and have walls all wet and all. Furniture scratch all up, beds very firm no pillow tops on them, neighbors flush toilet you hear it all around lol, just old style hotel.

Not very happy with this hotel. Having to pay for $29 a night parking for a bad night it is beyond unacceptable. Typically not the person to complain; however, I slept literally with 5 pair of layers because the heater wasn't working. I repeatedly informed the front desk, and kept on saying that boiler needed to be adjusted, and heater will soon turn on; however, although many calls indicating no heat, nothing was done. The hotel location and entrance streets were under construction. Hotel doesn't offer food after hours, rather front desk suggests to order Uber Eats, and/or give you a little menu from an outside not appealing restaurant to order. Room need upgrading, and restroom setting is awkward. Lighting inside of room is poor. Overall, it wasn't an appealing place stay. New Year's Eve wasn't as anticipated.

The Riverwalk being so close--very convenient. All staff very friendly and out going.

Customer service was good, hotel need big time attention.
