Pleasant stay. Late night security was very helpful
We enjoyed the beauiful stroll along the Riverwalk each evening as we went to and from dinner. The quiet little bar off the lobby was the prefect spot for an after dinner drink.
This hotel is pricey as are the other hotels in the area. However, I'd pay a few more bucks and stay somewhere else. Our bathroom was gross and dirty. The rooms are tiny and have full size beds. Our family of 4 was on top of each other. I called to get extra coffee. Then I called 3 more times in the hour it took to be delivered. It was delivered while I was at the front desk getting it myself. Breakfast is not included. Finally, the girl at checkout did not ask me how my stay was. Handed me my bill and that was it. I stared at her waiting for some sort of exchange and she just said "that's it." Our super 8 stay was better than this place. And you might want to know that self parking is $16.
It was good the hotel is right on the river and they have excellent customer service everyone is so nice the only thing I didn't like was having to pay for parking when you're already staying there it should be free parking
Had a great stay. It is a very nice hotel and on the river walk. We walked down town every day and even walked home at night.
The hotel is nice but you can see and feel it's age. The humidity with poor AC could be felt when you walked into your room. The door was difficult to close due to either swollen walls (humid) or just shifting walls because of age, and the tub drain needed work. But it was clean, friendly and the lobby reminded me of Ricky Ricardo (from I Love Lucy). It's a good place to stay if you don't plan to hang out. It's close to the River Walk.
The room had cockroaches. Walking away from everything
If you are not into the hustle and bustle of the busyness of the riverwalk, this is a great quiet spot.
We stayed here during our sons BMT graduation weekend. We didn't spend much time at the hotel other than to shower and sleep, so this hotel was a great choice for us. It was clean, staff was friendly, and it was close to the downtown attractions if you are up for a short walk. The restaurant was not great, the bathroom lacked counter space, and vending machines did not work. But, for the price we paid, and the fact that we wanted to dine elsewhere on the river walk anyway, this hotel was a perfect choice for us.
Convenient location, nice staff, helpful, easy to get around hotel facilities and handy parking.
The ac made noise the whole time. I did not get a good night sleep.
Ok..... Room was far far away from an elevator! Room was smaller than pictures showed.
I will always stay here when I come to San Antonio to visit. It's a great price for a great room. Next time I'm going to bring a swimmin suit, though.
No reason to go spend 200-300 on a hotel when you're going to be on the River Walk most of the time! So this place is good worked out perfect.
Dont wort it the ac was realy noisy i use valet parking i left my truck there for 2 hours then i went to get ir back becasue i was going out and the truck was still ther parked with the keys inside and the windows roled down i had a 600 dls watch in there
Nice ambiance in and around the hotel. Good location, easy to park on street.
It's an old hotel. The beds were bumpy and the room felt small. It's over priced. I stayed here thinking it was closer walking distance to down town. They also charged $17 to park your own vehicle. Usually you pay parking in all the down town hotels that are within a couple of blocks. But never for the distance like this one.
poolside room, great a/c, Outside Bar by pool, friendly staff.
A decent hotel. Overpriced, though. And ~$20 for parking per night? Come on now.
