Best Western Alamo Suites

The hotel was clean and great service my only complain was the room smelled moldy.

The rooms were up-to-date, neat and clean. Breakfast was filling with variety. There were two bus lines close by which are the best deal in town. VIA has three VIVA bus routes dedicated to tourist attractions. Ride all day for $2.75!!!

When we arrived for late check in and asked about a good place to eat, the lady at the desk gave us a card for a restaurant that never closes that was about 5 minutes away. The card was for a free Sopapilla with our entrees. It was a great recommendation and the service was wonderful. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise since normal continentals don't have the selection of fresh fruits, yogurts, variety breads, juices, cereals, scrambled eggs, sausage and my favorite -- a waffle in the shape of Texas. The pool and hot tub were relaxing as well. Small fitness room, but enough in there for a good workout. The room was spacious and quiet. Would definitely stay there again.

It was a nice experience except for the warn room - the air conditioner was not blowing enough cold air for it being on high. Gladly, we were offered another room.

Older hotel that has had a couple updates but not with the rooms. Our room had a smell. The walls were paper thin and you could hear what everyone was saying/doing. Someone above us kept jumping or running around and that's all we heard. The indoor pool was below us and we could hear people shouting! Our door would not shut on its own so we had to make sure to pull it hard. And small pet peeve...only three towels, two wash cloths and two hand towels for 2 females and one male.

NICE HOTEL LOCATED NEAR THE RIVER WALK THE ALAMO AND TOWER OF AMERICAS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Everything's nice. Just get up early and go to breakfast. It's a small eating area, and the low cost of this hotel brings in larger families. When they decide to finally get up, it's shoulder to shoulder. short walking distance from the hotspots. Good cost. Nice staff. Clean place.

Check in was very unfriendly. Then told me to park in the back and neglected to tell me that there are 5 steps I would need to drag my luggage up to get to the elevator. I could have brought my bag in at check in if she had mentioned this. Very nice double king room with balcony. First night I locked myself out looking for vending machine. Went down to the desk to find it locked with a bell to ring. Rang rang rang for 15 minutes with no answer. Finally found a house phone that calls the desk and someone picked up. Fridge microwave in room. Indoor pool that kids seem to enjoy. No furniture on the balcony so I dragged the desk chair out there. Parking is free which is why I would return and recommend.

The hotel is small but clean and ordered. The breakfast is very nice and the location is perfect around 1 mile from San Antonio downtown.

The hotel was not super close to the Alamo and River walk, but a pretty quick drive. The hotel was very clean and we got a room with 3 king size beds, which was perfect for our family. There were lots of people at breakfast, but the staff kept the waffles cooking and everything clean.

It's very much convenient to downtown and it provides the adventure to any tourist. Would definitely use this hotel again in the near future.

They stay was pleasant. Rooms were very roomy. The only complaint I have is that the breakfast was nothing to rave about. It said free full complimentary breakfast and it wasn't!

It was a good place to have an oasis. I loved how close everything was and I would definitely stay here again in the future.

The staff was very helpful and very nice. The room was very clean with all amenities you could have. Wifi was superb and I will most definitely stay there again.

Clean, basic. A comfortable chair instead of a full size refrigerator would have been a better use of floor space. A real coffee maker would be better, too.

This is my first time staying in this hotel it's good for family and clean and convenient to all places

Hotel lobby was under construction. Plastic runways Throughout. No parking by the lobby area and was located in the back of hotel made it feel unsafe with individuals digging in dumpsters and dark on side entrance

Hotel was clean and the room was very comfortable. The staff was very courteous. The hotel is in a good location for access to Lackland AFB, Sea World, and downtown San Antonio. Travel times were less than 15 minutes to most of the sites we visited. Had a great stay!

Hotel is a little out of the way but worth it. Great reception by Sarah and very informative. Room is great, and service overall was great. Only bad point is that the rear entrance step going past the pool entrance is not clearly marked.

We were given the room which has filthy stains on the sofa and the lamp shades. This hotel doesn't meet three star rating in any aspect. The front desk clerk were nice to offer us the different room which was a little better but no where close to our expectation. The carpet flooring was not cleaned properly. There was bunch of m$m candies under the credenza and when tried to iron a shirt the iron board has disgusting stains all over. I wish I could post the picture. We were satisfied with the breakfast facility and the breakfast attendant.
