The facilities are not bad; it just needs more care. There’s a room (110), which we were initially assigned, that was a disaster not just for us but also as expressed by some other guest who was assigned that room. They also found the room to be very bad and had to be relocated, just like we did.

The staff, expecially the restaurant staff, were so good to us. The buffet meals were abundant and excellent. My wife and I were there for New Year 2025 celebration and were blown away by the dinner that was presented. The wait staff and cooks worked until 3am and were back in the restaurant to present breakfast at 6:30am.

Good ocean view, nice pool, not too bad gym, nice staff with nice attitude. Property owners need to invest in the property structure if planned to withstand for coming years. As an all inclusive resort drinks are served cheap buffet offers variety but not best quality.The view from the waterfront of the hotel compensates for whatever not so good staff. We have to consider the resort is not located in Ibiza, is located in a kind of rural island in the Colombian Caribbean do not to be do picky.

I had no problem due to this facility or staff at Decameron Maryland my problem is with Expedia.com that changed my reservation that I had made for Decameron Mar Azul from April 16-2019 and it was no possible to resolve this situation upon my arrival in San Andrés because de poor internet service at hotel and a poor customer service at Expedia.com I feel scammed!

Amazing time.

Had an amazing experience and would recommend this hotel to everyone. Staff were very friendly and very out going with the kids and adults. Had lots of fun and looking forward to going back.

All was very courteous and excellent staff overall, would highly recommend for all inclusive package. Outside hotel is a fishing community and you can smell odors as you walk by to go to main boardwalk and beach. Would be nice to clean up trash and debris on streets and park areas.. Hotel was very clean and excellent customer service!

Very clean and beautiful hotel

While staying in the Decameron Maryland, I had a great time. The staff was very nice and welcoming. My friend and I even had a bartender who took us around the island in his free time and showed us everything. The food was good, but we also ate around the island a lot. The rooms were very clean, but we did have trouble getting hot water at certain times of the day. The views from the rooms weren't great, but we never spent time there so we didn't care. The hotel is also within walking distance of the center of the town. We walked there everyday, and we went to the beach just down the street everyday because the Maryland beach is a bit small. Overall it was a great experience and I would go back in an instant.

It was OK

It was just ok. We didnt spend much time at our hotel but when we were there i thought it was difficult to understand the people. I thought more of them would haved known english. Room service was very good. The phones in the rooms did not work very well at all so when we wanted to make a call we had to go to the front desk and use theirs.

Convenient Location and exceptional staff

The staff was exceptional. My luggage had been lost by the airline and the staff assisted me in making several calls to the airline and associated airports. The staff was essential in the safe return of my luggage. The hotel has a small cozy beach next door and nice pool. Both served by bars. The hotel is within walking distance of the larger beach, main restaurants and shopping areas. The all-inclusive option includes meals and the pool bars.

Resort muito legal, mas relativamente mal localizado. esta no final da costa. Possui uma praianha muito bonita e meio que privada, o que é um ponto positivo. Quarto bom, e limpo. Alimentação do all inclusive boa para otima. Estrutura razoavel, piscina nao muito grande e sem muito cuidado. A experiencia foi boa. Mas entre ele e o outro resort que visitei na mesma viagem, prefiro o outro (Arena Blanca).
