Was just fantastic holiday awesome service and really care as always we are group of friends and we always feel like home ❀️ thank you really for everything we come again as always we want you the same for the next year but we are sure every year is more beautiful than the last πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ

It was my third time in a Wyndham, the second in the Salzburg one and all three stays have been disappointing. On their website they promote posh minimalistic rooms with hardwood floors and lovely interior but that's obviously the handful of executive suites. I (every time) got an old room with filthy carpets and curtains, an old bathroom and literally two power extentions in the whole room. Everything was old and worn down, basic and showed the neglect of hotels who don't have to care about cleanliness or service because of their perfect location. I called in before my arrival to ask if there will be a Nespresso Machine in my room - as shown on the internet - and was told 'of course!, there's one in every room!', but still ended up with only a dirty water kettle that did not really 'work' with the Nespresso capsules I brought with me. In the bathroom there was (and still is - I am writing from my room) hair sticking not only to the walls but even the ceiling, old, dried out shower gel on the tiles, since two days I am getting bathroom carpets as towels, the cleaning ladies did not only leave their dirty cloths on my desk but (as I could tell from the tissue I threw into the toilet this morning which was still lurking around when I came back close to midnight) decided not to clean the toilet, which makes sense as the dried out foam from my morning shower also was still clinging onto the bathtub. But besides a not functioning A/C and half used bodylotion, all these other tiny inconveniences are for sure not an issue if you spend your whole time in Salzburg downtown, waltzing over the willows, munching on Salzburger Nockerl and purchasing some Dress-Leathertrousers with matching wool stockings. Unfortunately there is a bunch of people coming here to work and they are not pleased. Not at all. As it was a business trip I could not choose the hotel. If I could I'd never go there again. Writing all this I am aware that hotel cleaning staff is only allowed so much time per room. So they are - I hope- not leaving the rooms half dirty intentionally or because they are lazy. I did not dine there but me and colleagues had drinks at the bar and when we were lucky there was two waiters/barkeepers who kind of tried to make it work, but another one (I already had to endure at my first visit) who just did not want to be there, overwhelmed with more than one order at a time and thoroughly grumpy, no matter how much you thanked or praised him. All in all - unfortunately a Nope. And the cute receptionist that told me at check out that I should have asked for a room with a Nespresso Machine after they gave me the water kettle room should better talk to her colleague who assured me in a second of having that machine in my room.

We stayed here as a family for a few nights as part of a wider holiday. Locationwise it has pros and cons. The immediate area is not particularly attractive and is surrounded by soviet looking apartment blocks. It's about 15-20 minutes walk to the old town. On the up side, it is extremely close to the main station, less than 5 minutes walk. There's also a decent shopping centre across the road. Hotel itself offered quite a large room, but looked a little tired. The restaurant had a fairly limited menu with not much to offer for the kids.

Good afternoon to all who are going to visit this hotel! Do not go there! There are thieves! Steal money from rooms! Be careful!!! I have stolen more than 3500 euros in this hotel. Theft was committed by the hotel staff while we were on a breakfast

Loved the hotel and spa close to shopping and train station all staff were polite and helpful The hotel room was clean and spacious nice restaurant and bar staff very friendly Would recommend this place to anyone.

We selected this hotel because it was one of few that had two double beds per room and could sleep 3 people comfortably. The beds were comfortable. The hotel was clean and quiet. It was a 15-30 minute walk to most attractions, but close to the train and bus station. The restaurant menu was limited but the food was good.

The Wyndham is a well located very comfortable hotel in Salzburg which suited our needs very well . The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious ,well serviced and warm . A very good breakfast. There was an issue with the service at dinner one evening which was dealt with fairly and efficiently . All in all on behalf of our group of 10 ladies we are delighted to recommend the Wyndham Grand as a good option for exploring Salzburg .

We stayed at this hotel as part of a tour of the Christmas Markets in Austria. Arriving by bus, our check in was quick and easy. After a day of travel from Vienna, visiting Christmas Markets along the way plus a Christmas Market in Salzburg, we were still a little jet lagged and tired. This is a modern, well run hotel with spotlessly clean, large and comfortable rooms.. I don't know if they normally provide dinner, they did for our tour group and it was absolutely first rate. Everything from Salmon to chicken, salads, desserts etc.,all visually attractive as well as tasty. The next morning, we were in a private dining room for breakfast. They pulled out all the stops for our breakfast. Gorgeous breads, rolls, cold cuts, hot breakfast items as well as juices, coffees and teas. I cannot fault this hotel on either accommodations or food quality. Being from the Southern USA, I was thrilled to see snow the morning we were leaving this hotel and Salzburgh. A winter wonderland.

This hotel is within a couple blocks of the Main Train / Bus Station and less than a mile to the Old City and other attractions. There are nice restaurants, fast food, groceries, etc everything you could need for a great stay in Salzburg.

We booked one night here before catching the train to Munich (5 min walk to the station). The staff on the reception desk were very friendly. The room was nice (on the 5th floor) with modern decor. We were very happy that we could open a window. Unfortunately this did not help with the heat in the room even with the heating off! We booked a table for a meal in their restaurant Bar Roque - this was a little disastrous. Incredibly busy, not enough staff, took ages to place an order for food and drinks which they then lost. Once realised they were quick to rectify and very apologetic. Breakfast was very nice with a good variety of choices. I would only stay here if on business or needed access to the main train station.
