Such an amazing property and wait staff! We were beyond pampered! Great location, food and views. Highly recommended!

This place was beyond amazing. We were welcomed with a drink in the cozy bar. Then the staff helped us up to our complimentarily upgraded room on the very top of the hotel tower overlooking the entire city. It was amazing! - There was even a TV that rose on command from a recessed cabinet. The views were stunning and the room was pristine. The staff were extremely helpful and responsive to any request that we had. We got a little too drunk at the Augusteiner beer hall (which is super close) and slept in past breakfast time. The next morning we thought we had missed breakfast, but the staff held breakfast late just for us to enjoy. Breakfast is huge with anything that you could possibly want. Yes, this hotel is expensive, but I think the value is definitely there and I would definitely stay here again! Absolutely recommend this place - the highlight of our entire trip!

I chose this hotel because the previous reviews were effusive with their praise and it was centrally located. It is beautiful, private but easily accessible to central attractions. Wonderful spa, pool/hot tub, phenomenal staf.

Perfect to attend Summer Festival and get over jet lag. Spa and pool areas are very quaint. Service was personal and friendly.

The hotel is situated atop a mountain. We called in advance and were advised to input a very specific location in the GPS. That was wise because navigating to the hotel can be tricky. When we arrived, we were greeted by a beautiful building with meticulously maintained grounds. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. The view from the hotel is lovely. The rooms are small but well configured. Parking is free, and assistance with baggage is provided. The hotel isn't central, but Salzburg isn't particularly large. Navigation about town would be difficult without a car, particularly from the hotel's location. The hotel includes a restaurant and a sizable room service menu. It also includes Wi-Fi. For us, breakfast was not included in the room rate. The breakfast itself was quite good with a modest selection of breads, cereals, meats and cheeses. Specialty items were extra.
