It was not mentioned during or after booking that this is a self serve hotel. If it wasn't that I was so lucky to come across a very kind gentleman who let me in and told me to check in online, I would've been outside the locked building in coldness for another hour trying to figure things out. That gentleman was even nice enough wait until I finished checking in before he proceeded to his room. On the contrary, when I came across a staff in the hallway, I was gonna just ask a simple question. The moment I started talking :'Do you know...' She acted all frantic and cut me off and said:'NO! NO!!' As if it's a huge sin for her to be seen, since it's supposed to be self serve? She dashed into the staff elevator, and yelled something not German or English to me and closed the door. I do want to say the hotel is nice and clean and comfortable. If it wasn't for the above experience I would have given it a better score. I'm not against self serve - if only they had clarify it during booking or in the confirmation email, so that I was prepared. It does justify the price considering the quality of the room. The kitchen ware and microwave are very useful. I did also come across a much nicer staff two days later. She was cleaning another room, and I asked her a simple question and she was very nice and helpful. The breakfast could use some more variety though. It's ok, not bad but not impressive either. Since it's dropped off as a lunch box, there's very limited selection.

No breakfast booked so useful to have a kitchen and fridge. Hotel within reasonable distance to the centre and buses nearby useful. Room never cleaned - we had a 3 day stay. No staff visible. Very impersonable. Ok for a budget hotel but felt we didn’t get value for money. Entry codes took some getting used to

Our room was clean, quiet, and a good size but we did run in too a few problems. On our second night, the television turned on at 4h and every time we turned it off, it came back on. The TV was wall mounted and we could not access the plug. Later that same day we used our plates for the first time and discovered one had not been cleaned. We incorrectly assumed that all the dishes were cleaned between visits. Initially reporting problems is through an AI chat bot but eventually you would get a response from a human

Lovely property. I was apprehensive since everything is electronic and doesn’t have a fulltime, in person reception but their customer service and apps were easy to use and had fast response times. The room was well appointed and had everything we needed. I liked having the free lockers available as well as laundry facilities (paid) in the building. I would recommend this property. It was a little far from the central tourist attractions but the weather was nice and we enjoyed walking so it was not a problem for us (maybe a 15-20minute walk). It was great for us because we enjoyed getting out of the busy tourist area.

The studio is clean and comfortable. It’s away from the tourist center by about 30 minutes on foot. The train station is 15 minutes on foot. We prepaid for breakfast. They have fixed options for you to pick. A breakfast bag is delivered at the door each morning. On the whole we enjoyed the stay.

The room was well sized and clean. Basic amenities such as bottled water, kettle, microwave, fridge, showering gels, towels were provided. Shared washing machine and dryer are available at the basement level and you can easily use it via the wewash app. The staff was extremely helpful. He showed us how to use the storage lockers. The storage lockers are big enough for large sized luggage. The area is very safe and rather convenient (by bus or tram) to the central station.

We enjoyed our stay at this facility. Check-in was easy, although our room wasn't ready until an hour after check-in time. The room and facility were clean. They have large baggage drop lockers that you can access all day, prior to check-in. Laundry facilities were on-site; 4 Euro for a washer and 3 for a dryer. The machines dispense laundry detergent so you don't need to bring any. There is an endless supply of towels, boxed water, toilet paper, tea, and paper towels. There are at least six grocery stores within blocks of the property, including ones with international, GF, and vegan options (note: they are closed on Sundays). The property is in an area of hotels, car businesses, grocery stores, and a variety of other businesses. It is a 10-minute walk to touristy streets and 30 minutes to Old Town (Altstadt). There is a bus stop in front of the building. There is a tiny fridge that holds a single depth of items. Overall, the building was quiet. We had great issues with using the TV; the streaming did not work well, and we couldn't get support.

The property is away from the main attraction which is the old town and city center. It’s about a 15-20 mins walk in a very quiet neighborhood which doesn’t have much around. The room is simple but clean. The biggest issue for me is that there is no staff on site and virtual check in was a bit of an hassle. Overall, if you are looking for a clean room with a reasonable rate, I would recommend this property. However, if you don’t mind paying a little bit more, staying closer to old town will give you a better experience.

Nice hotel but no onsite personnel

Hotel was a bit odd as it was not manned - there was no reception desk. Room number and code to get in the hotel were texted to me. Not sure what would have happened if something wasn’t working or I needed something during my stay. Luckily I didn’t need to find out. Other than that the room was nice size and clean.
