The Plaza is convenient to Temple Square, UMoCA and the convention center. It’s also across the street from a tram stop and a shopping center.
It’s okay, very close to Delta Center that’s all we need
Central to food and shopping adjacent to free transportation within the city.
Everything went great up until the last day when the water wasn’t working, I wasn’t able to use the hot tub or shower because of the cold water and then no water. It came on after an hour, but I was already dressed and ready to check out great experience, except for the last morning.
The room and hotel were clean and everyone is super nice … near the Temple square and shopping mall.
Great price, great location, insane shower water pressure. Walk right across the street to convention center and mall. Walking distance to Delta Center/Vivint Arena. Only bad was breakfast not included with room and staff not clear on that at checkin, extra $$. If staying on the weekend get an after-hours street vendor hot dog from the lady across the street.
The hotel is great and in the center of everything you would want to do in the city. Staff is very nice and make you feel comfortable.
Like a 10 minutes walk to the Vivint Area where the Jazz Play. Nothing good to eat in the hotel except expensive frozen snacks.
It is in a great location and good price.
I was dissatisfied that I was charged $50 fee for extending 1 extra day of staying at the plaza hotel when the staff was unable to find a 1 king size bedroom for me. I was overly charged way too many times while residing on the property.
I love the space and atmosphere of the establishment.
Excellent service! Friendly and helpful staff! Very clean room
The first sign should have been all of the metal poles in the parking garage to support the beams in the parking garage. Then when I went to check in the three people were more interested in discussing the coworker that was late and a disrespectful customer then checking me in. Check in get our bags upstairs the room keys don’t work. Try a few times and two young ladies open the door. I apologized to them as they were freaking out. Went downstairs stood in line again, because now there’s only 1 employee at check in time (3:30) finally about 10 minutes into waiting another employee shows up. I get up to the counter and tell the employee that there’s already someone in the room. The employee had written the room number down wrong (happens sometimes). Get to our room and it’s sandwiched in between the elevators and is super tiny. So we listened to elevators all night long. $100 deposit $10 to park our vehicle. We won’t be going back.
The hotel was right next to the central square very easy access The bathtub was old and rusty round the drain hole, the shower was very hard to turn on so at first I thought it didn’t work. Only free coffee, you had to pay for breakfast burritos etc
Location is very convenient to witness the Tabernacle Choir perform at the Conference Center. City Creek area allows a variety of shops and food.
