THIS WAS THE COOLEST HOTEL I HAVE EVER BEEN IN, Loved it but we went as a family with small children, it was disappointing to walk around and have to explain what pride flags were, "inclusive climbing" unisex bathrooms, queer fest art shows and drag queen shows were... I think these are personal choices and should not be shoved down mine or my childrens throat at every turn. I go to a hotel to relax on vacation , not explain politics and alternate life styles to my kids. I think they took an excellent idea , made it more than cool , then polluted it .

Clean no frills place to stay. Plenty of activities with day pass to climbing gym

Apparently Evo decided to build a climbing gym and put the hotel in as an afterthought. The rooms are tiny, and the ceilings are so low that it's impossible to get out of bed without hitting your head on the beams. The bed was the only piece of furniture in the room, no chair, no desk, no refrigerator, no coffee machine, nothing. Also, there was no tv in the room. The desk staff offered to upgrade me to a room with a television for an additional $80 per night (in addition to the very high rate I was already paying). Also, the walks are paper thin. The couple on one side of me argued until 2am, and the folks on the other side had a dog that woke up at 5am. So, the only thing it's possible to do in those rooms is sleep, and you can't even do that. During checkout, the guy at the front desk asked for feedback on my stay. I told him the same things I've said here, in response he smirked and said "yeah, everbody hates those rooms". That was it. I will not stay here again, don't think I'll do business with Evo anymore either.

If you’re not a young skateboarder or skier, I recommend you avoid this hotel. It’s trying too hard for the renovated industrial look and took some shortcuts along the way. Windowless rooms with low ceilings, poor sound insulation, not even a cup or glass for water in the room. On the other hand, the bed was super-comfy. Would not stay again.

Aloha Eric, Thank you so much for taking the time to provide us your feedback. I apologize that we were not able to meet your standards during your stay with us. Our building is very unique in that it's considered a historical building; because of this, we were unable to touch the outside of the building when constructing the hotel. Again, I sincerely apologize that we weren't a good fit. I would love to reach out to you and see if there's anything we can do to make this right. I'll give you a call tomorrow to discuss. If there's anything we can do for you in the meantime, please don't hesitate to reach out to us anytime! Thank you again for giving us an opportunity.
