Residence Inn by Marriott Salt Lake City Airport

Great hotel, very convenient to downtown. The staff proved excellent in all aspects of my stay. Breakfast was very good. The only real issue is lack of a near by restaurant. Another great service is shuttle to and from airport. Between the shuttle and Uber there is no need to rent a car.

Stayed here one night and did not have to worry about anything. Checked in, beautiful styled room, and very clean. Also, I really like these non-smoking hotels! We had a one bedroom suite that had 2 televisions, a fully operational kitchen, and a nice view of the city.

Stayed one high there. I wasn't sure what to expect, as I have not stayed in this Marriott brand before. This was really a well laid out hotel, with great amenities for the long term lodger- basketball, fitness, pool, etc, with a very friendly feel. The room was enormous, with plenty of space- full kitchen, large living area, etc. also very clean. I think could stay a few weeks here and be just fine. Only downside to this area- and it isn't the hotels fault- there are not a lot of dining options in the area, which given the number of hotels in this area, seems strange. Highly recommend this hotel

I'm a Starwood Platinum member and I've recently been staying at some of the Marriott properties now that they've joined. I haven't stayed at a Residence Inn for a very long time. I was pleasantly surprised. Nice rooms complete with fireplace, couch, separate bedroom, and updated kitchens with granite counters. Airport shuttle was quick and efficient both in the evening and morning. Not remotely scenic area or anything, but didn't hear any airplane noise whatsoever.

Arrived at 10pm on a Sunday night. There was only one person checking in ahead of me but it took every bit of 15 minutes to get her checked-in. Other people came in wanting to buy things from the lobby store but gave up and went away. Only one person working the desk, and she appeared to be new. Finally got to the room. It was 84 degrees per the thermometer on the thermostat unit and the windows do not open (AC had not been on in quite awhile apparently). There were nasty stains on the fabric sofa - so I avoided that. The only positive is the breakfast was great! I could have stayed next door at the Courtyard for the same price, so I won't be making that mistake again. Suggest look elsewhere.

The staff at this hotel are exceptionally helpful. Doug at the front desk could be concierge at the Ritz-Carlton. He told me where to go and addressed every need. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

One of our favorite places to stay. So clean! They had a BBQ at night and breakfast in the morning. Superior service! Still impressed. The rooms are spacious and roomy. I love that there is a separate living space so when I want to go to bed or use the bathroom I am not in the same room as everyone else. Hidden hem here!

Stayed here prior to an early flight out of SLC. I was pleasantly shocked at how amazing the service was, from the front desk, to the shuttle service (early morning and evening to drop off my rental car), to the bartender and waitress at the in-house restaurant. The waitress/bartender was so friendly, sweet, and made it fun. The hotel is extremely clean. Very close proximity to airport, and the rooms were huge (bathrooms, too)! Lots of channels on tv, which was nice as I had a lot of down time the night before. Would highly recommend and stay here agin.

Nice clean room, and the suites where nice, TV small but everything seemed dark. Not very many good eating places around either. The breakfast area is small and seemed loud with people next to you. Breakfast was ok

The staff at the hotel is fantastic. They made me feel at home and we're always accommodating and friendly. I stayed for 2 weeks and found the room comfortable. I prefer the 1 bedroom, as to have a separation between the living and sleeping spaces but the studio I had worked. I have 2 nitpick points however. The first is that I had a room that was at the opposite end of the hotel from everything, so in order to have hot water, I had to run the tub for several minutes. Not a huge deal, but wasteful to get hot water. The 2nd point is that the housekeeping department is a bit rough. The first few days I stayed, I left the "No Service Today" tag on the door because all was well. The 4th day(Friday) I was out working all day and took the door hanger down because the trash needed to be emptied, the sheets could use a changing and I am about out of TP. No service at all. The next day, I again left the door hanger down. Housekeeping showed up about 3:00 to clean. I put away my lunch and headed down to the lobby. A minor inconvenience. No new TP. Now we are at Monday. The room was serviced, but, (Wait for it), no TP. So I hike down to the lobby, which if you recall from earlier, is at the far point of the hotel, to beg for TP, which I am now out of. We're it not for the TP situation, you would have had an excellent rating. The good news is that some training and attention to detail can fix that. Otherwise, all was well. Please take this all in the spirit that was intended, the hotel is worth staying in, just needs a couple of easy tweaks.
