Clean fresh smelling hotel. When first arrived room smelt a bit funky like a damp mouldy smell think it was coming from the shower but after getting a shower and opened doors on to balcony the smell went. Would definitely recommend the only other thing i would say is there was no air-conditioning switch in the room it wasn't too bad in October but I wouldn't have liked to stay there in july or August

Spacious clean room, very good breakfast with buffet options that change daily. Only negatives are lack of any tea/coffee facilities in room, and that you have to pay extra to use the safe.

We absolutely loved this hotel it was so clean! We had a room way larger than expected overlooking the beach it was perfect we couldn't have asked for more . The food every morning and evening was a different menu so we didnt feel the need to eat anywhere other than the hotel all week. Over all id rate this hotel a 10/10 from our experience. The staff are all amazing and friendly aswel

Disappointed.

Our room was nice, however when we got back after an evening out and tried turning on the air con, the panel was locked. After phoning reception and unsuccessfully getting through, I had to walk down to reception to get it turned on, upon which they told me the doors had to be shut and only they can control it and that he would turn it on. I went back to the room and noticed there was a tapping sound coming from the air con, I phoned down and couldn’t get through. I tried to ignore it but it was very hard to ignore so after not sleeping for a couple of hours I called again, to which the night porter came and looked at it and said I could either have the noise or have the air con off. For context it was really hot still and the air con on was barely taking the edge off and the noise was very annoying and the night porter agreed there was clearly an issue. I ended up just not really sleeping. It would be helpful to mention on check in that the doors have to be completely closed for the air con to work. There was no wifi in the room either which I mentioned a few times and got dismissed as a non issue, I am tech savvy and your systems coverage just didn’t work in the room and neither did the backup, they did work in the lobby. When I mentioned the issues on check out I got the impression your receptionist didn’t really care

Wish I could Gatekeep this hotel

The Blaumar has everything you could possibly want for a quiet relaxing family holiday. I’ve been here twice in the last year with different ages of kids and adults and it caters for young and old. The staff are amazing from the reception staff to the staff at the pool. Fantastic entertainment. The only reason we left the hotel was to use the hotels beach bar across the road at the beach. We will be back
