I stayed at Quaaout Lodge for 6 nights, for personal development seminars, with the Choices program. My time there was wonderful. The accommodations were fabulous and the food was exceptional. I was especially impressed with the staff who were so friendly and helpful in every part of the hotel. I am planning to return as often as I can, because the setting on the lake is fantastic and so peaceful.
Stayed at Quaaout Lodge with a group of 55 + people while we had "Super Choices" seminar. The service was excellent. The food was excellent. The property was excellent. The scenery was excellent. The location was excellent. Beauty every where I looked. Nestled on the shares of the Little Shuswap I enjoyed watching bald eagles flying overhead
I spent six days at the Quaaout resort as part of a personal development seminar program. The resort was an absolutely perfect destination for the program. The hotel is small, with less than 100 rooms. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive to my groups needs, though I am sure that the size of our group (70 people) may have strained their restaurant a few times when we came at them en masse for meals (they handled the load well). The meals we experienced for breakfast, lunch and dinner were amazing, with local ingredients such as meats and seafood. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The main lobby and conference centre displays the First Nations heritage of the Shuswap in a complimentary manner. My room was in good condition and the bathroom clean and modern. The cleaning staff were again very friendly and polite. I will happily make this resort a stop on my next journeys across British Columbia.
We stayed here for one night on a quick trip to BC. Found it on line. We were very pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and peaceful it was. Rooms were very nice and all with a lake view. Property is in a very pretty and quiet setting though it might be busier in the summer when golf and beach season is active. Our dinner in the dining room was one of the best meals out we have had in a very long time. Food was spectacular, service great and the setting nice. All the staff throughout our stay were polite, attentive and professional. Highly recommend.
Was here for a mid september wedding. Nice enough place. Food was really good. Adrian, the abrasive, rude, and aggressive hotel reception guy was horrible and ruined this experience for me! He was rude and abnoxious to me, my mom, and 3 other families involved in the wedding. I would never come back here or recommend this place to anyone while hes employed there.!!
Two couples began a golf week at Quaaout Lodge in September. We were very pleased with our room that opened out onto the lawn with the Little Shuswap Lake beyond. After a pleasant stroll around the grounds and taking in the cultural sign, we had the best dinner of our vacation in the Lodge restaurant. The elk dishes are especially recommended. Our server was very pleasant and very knowledgeable about the food and wine. We all enjoyed the golf course - in spite of the very difficult greens! We did have some challenges with credit card mix-ups but that was settled after a few calls. We suggest you check your bill carefully before checking out.
Every room is positioned to have a view of the Little Shuswap. We walked across the road where we had our own private showing of by one of the Shuswap First Nation canoe makers. He was making 2 canoes for an upcoming event. We did not use the spa, and do not play golf, but the course has beautifully maintained grounds. We have been to the Adams River salmon run in early October where it empties into the Shuswap. The salmon turn bright red and make the river look completely red. Local crafts are close by expecially at this time of year.
We have been coming here for Sunday brunch with my grandchildren and family whenever we visit them in Blind Bay, from Vancouver since about 2005. Our grandchildren love it , it was excellent value for money when they were little as they ate for free and it still is . In the summer it is beautiful on the beach by the lake , we have even been in the boat and tied up at their dock . It is lovely at thanksgiving and Christmas but gets very busy . Be sure to book any time we always do. I have not stayed at the resort, it is beautifully situated on the lake and with a golf course . The staff are very friendly and the native carved wood in the building is beautiful.
Recently We (A bride to be and 4 Bridesmaids)Enjoyed a wonderful stay. It was amazing. We were given the honeymoon suite and a room next to it, spa vouchers and we had a pre arranged dinner in our room for a surprise for the bride. They set up flowers and brought us our dinner. The food presentation and the food was AMAZING. Thank you to Michael and Quaaout Staff, you made it a memorable one and one we will never forget!
I have been to this hotel multiple times and they never fail to amaze me! Beautiful comfortable rooms, with an amazing view of the water from every angle, the restaurant is amazing and the brunch is a MUST when you visit this beautiful hidden gem in BC!
