The Inn at Ring's Island was a lovely surprise on a very cold New England weekend. The room was comfy and clean. I was especially appreciative of the Inn taking care of plowing the parking lot early as well as cleaning off the snow on our entrances. Thank you for a lovely time.

lovely hotel with modern amenities. be aware there is no on site housekeeping/staff

Called the hotel she allowed us to check in early - beware if you do this there may not be enough time for it to cool off or warm up depending on the season. It did warm up as the day went on. It is like a motel - you park in front of your room - no front desk which was fine with us. They left us a basket of goodies which was very nice- there was a fridge and a stocked keurig - I suggest you bring your own cream and a couple of mugs if you enjoy a real cup of coffee instead of non dairy creamer and paper cups. I also want to tell you this isn't there fault but there is some sort of whistle for the bridge?? - if you are a light sleeper you might want a noise machine or a fan. It went off all night long. Anyway - positive experience if you are independent and don't need the front desk for stuff. Although she did answer the phone when we asked about the heat. Pretty much all I need! Another plus was the restaurant right on site it was great - the bartender Stephanie was very good! There service and food was outstanding - we got the fish tacos and the chicken tenders with a side of fries which I can say were probably the best fries i've had out in years!! Definitely a good experience!

The hotel is very new, clean and nice. we were there in the winter visiting family so it was quiet but its a nice location for the summertime by the water and downtown, hotel was clean, new and staff left everything we needed. They were great.

Dear Lindsey: Thank you for posting your review. I am pleased that you were happy with the Inn and our amenities. You are correct we only have one staff person in the off season, we do have housekeeping as well, it needs to be requested. There is an information sheet in every room with the policies for housekeeping clearly explained. No one will enter your room unless you specifically request so, this gives the guest or guest's the knowledge and the comfort that there belongings are safe and secure. I am very sorry that this was not clear to you, I am considering tent cards for the rooms so that this policy is in clear sight, hopefully this will help with miscommunication. Thank you for choosing The Inn at Ring's Island I am grateful that you did. Best, Stephanie
