Checked in early to see if the room was ready without a charge, was charged £10 which is fine, but was only made aware of this charge when key had already been provided, especially when the link sent and selected early check in was less than £10- unsure why the link is sent if the price was different? We were woken up by loud noises which sounded like drilling, unsure if it was construction or pipes but it was very loud which did unsettle us. Bathroom needs some work, very dated. Hot tap didn’t always work and floor tiles were cracked. Otherwise, nice and close to amenities, comfy bed and parking is free of charge which is challenging to find in Manchester.

The check in was smooth and the staff very friendly. The room was very tired and in need of renovation. The hotel looks to be currently in the process of updating. Just unfortunate I had an older room. The bedroom area was generally clean. The bathroom whilst having been cleaned needed attention from a renovation point of view. The bar area was clean and the staff friendly.
