Very comfortable room, great surroundings, excellent employees, great location.

It was a fairly nice hotel that seemed a little run down. The beds were very uncomfortable and old to the point of having sleeping indentation from previous guests. The showers didn’t hold a temperature during the shower. The front desk clerk was super nice and was very welcoming.

Room was nice with new carpet except the shower head was broken. It dripped all night. The restaurant was dirty and bugs kept appearing on the bar. The young bartender had patrons get them as she was too scared.

Very comfortable accommodations, super group of staff members!

This is an OK place to stay, but nothing to write home about. The entrance and lobby area are impressive, but the room fell short in several areas. Workmanship was mediocre regarding the wallpaper and tile in the bathroom, and the bathroom door creaked like in a horror movie. For some odd reason, there was a fire sprinkler in the ceiling of the shower (!). I guess we'll be OK if the shower ever bursts into flames. Also, although the toilet is equipped with grab bars, the shower has none. There's no seat in the shower, and a hospital-grade shower bench is provided, rather institutional looking. The HVAC unit it the room is difficult to get to, as it is blocked by one of the beds. No handicapped person could ever get to it. Also, it does not have just a fan setting -- you set a temp, and either heat or cool, and it cycles on and off all night. I was hoping to run the fan to cover the noise coming down the hall from the bar & karaoke room. The breakfast was average - scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, cereal, yogurt, toast, etc. The entrance requires you to carry your luggage up a substantial flight of stone steps. There is an access elevator off to one side, but I did not see it until I was checking out. There appears to be very little area to just "hang out" outside your room. One final issue is that the TV channels feature no menu or guide -- you just have to click through, channel by channel, to see what is on.

Dirty, old, gross room and hotel. Room had old broken beat up beds, tube tv, sticky carpet, blood stains on the curtains, mildew smell throughout and especially in bathroom. Creepy location.

Everything old fashion. Smell old. By clean and staff friendly

Old fashion, friend staff, room is clean, but have some old smell

Definitely did not stay in a renovated room. Requested a 1 st floor room, that didn’t happen. A 1970s antique television. Found a VERY large ant 🐜 in the bathroom. Almost all of the staff was very friendly. Odd signage throughout the hotel. Confusing finding your room.

The resort was empty.. very few guests ,very few staff. Should not be open.

Room was very outdated and heavily worn. thin walls noise from hallway and other rooms.

Nice older hotel could use some updating but it is clean. Would probably be better to stay at in the summer and if you play golf

The Bay Valley Resort is a country club/golf course type of motel. From the outside, it looks very nice. The lobby was nice and clean. When walking down the hall, one could see that the carpet was old, well worn , and stained. The same could be said for the carpet in the room. The table, chair, dresser, and lamps had seen better days. There was an old picture tube TV that could have gone to "Good Will". The TV remote did not work with the TV. The back stairs, leading up to the door, were covered with carpet that was DIRTY. One of the steps appeared to have crumbled and was covered with a wooden built step. On the positive side, the bathroom was clean as was the towels and bed linen. This place is in bad need of updating and overall cleaning. I have stayed in 5 Star hotels in Las Vegas for little more that this price!!!!!!!

Overall experience was good. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Breakfast was average and wifi was poor. They could use some updating, especially their TV's that are very old.

We at the Bay Valley Resort are so sorry you had a less than perfect stay with us recently. We understand your disappointments and we are addressing them as we speak. While visiting us you were probably aware of the renovations taking place. This is a three year undertaking as we are renovating 45 rooms a year as well as other cosmetic updates to our hotel. We appreciate your feedback and we really hope to see you in the future to serve you again.

I apologize for taking so long to get back with you; but I wanted to investigate what happened during your stay. I am sorry you did not get into one of our newly renovated rooms but unfortunately they were all booked at the time. We anticipate more being renovated in time for the fall and even more by next spring. Please give our hotel another try then. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you again.
