One of the newest cities in California, Elk Grove only incorporated in 2000, and the population has more than doubled since then. The local school district has won many awards and recognitions at both the state and national level, making it a terrific place for families. Designed with a distinctly suburban feel in mind, most of the in-town attractions are based around the city’s parks and recreation facilities.

Family Man Trip

Accommodations very nice and clean, nice backyard patio and deck. Beds a little low and hard for senior men but otherwise everything was great.

Elk Grove Remodel

This is a small remodeled home in a quiet neighborhood in Elk Grove. My adult daughter and I came up for a horse show at Brookside. We brought our dog and very much enjoyed walking him in the nearby park. I have a large pickup and parking was easy. There were lots of nearby stores. We cooked our own meals and washed our clothes. Everything worked. There were a couple of pretty hot days and the a/c was able to keep up. We will stay again.

Nice house

The house was in a nice location and was great for our visit. The kitchen was exceptional with marble counter tops and gas stove/oven. The living room area was also comfortable for watching movies. There were some issues we had to take care of during our stay such as electrical tape holding one of the toilet’s internal water regulators. The owner was aware of the faulty toilet prior to our arrival which was disappointing to hear. The owner suggested he could have a maintenance person take care of it while we were there, but we went ahead and took care of the issue. The fire alam’s batteries (expiration date 2020) failed and were beeping intermittently which we had to address. There are a few things I think could use some addressing in the future to make the experience better for future guests such as the main bedroom’s mattress and frame situation. The bed mattress and frame were similar to sleeping on a futon. The main bathroom had some ants which we took care of. None of these were particularly big issues but would make it a bit better of an experience in my opinion. Also, the neighbor had a couple of parties which meant we could hear music into the wee hours of the night since the houses are very close together.

Lovely house in great area. Host provided lots of essentials like shampoos, toilet paper, and laundry detergent. Kitchen could use a few more pots and pans (we were a group of 7 who love to eat) but still worked out. Host is SUPER communicative.

Great place to stay!

Our family loved this house and the neighborhood in the Elk Grove community. Steffon was the absolute best host!!! He was a great communicator and had everything we needed. A nice surprise was a bottle of champagne and snacks. The house was clean and so cozy. We were just minutes away to lots of shops and restaurants. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the Sacramento area. We can’t wait to come back! Thanks Steffon for making this a great trip!

Owner was easy to get a hold of. Communication was great. House was clean and it was the perfect amount of space for me and my family. Everything we needed was at the house. Neighbors were also nice and so many places to eat and shop within 3 minutes. We will definitely book again with Steffon.

Comfortable Stay

Steffon was amazing from the day before check-in all the way to check-out. Making sure we were comfortable and asking if we needed anything. The house was super clean, smelled good and he even had a bottle of champagne in the fridge :). I'd definitely stay here again!
