Lots of parking even semi truck parking. Nearby restaurants. Older hotel but kept very clean.
First, we had a problem with the bath tub drain, it was fixed fast. next we had a problem with climbing into bed. Both beds were very high, my wife is 5' 2" and I had to help her to get into her bed. I am 6' 3" and had a bit of a problem to climb up into mine. The manager overslepted and did not open the breakfast until 6:30. We went next door to buy a breakfast. We watched 4 other people try for breakfast and leave before the breakfast was opened. I walked over to get a receipt and he just laughed about being late and told me the high beds were good because they were good quality mattresses. We have stayed here before, but will NEVER again.
About what I expected for the price. Commode leaked, coffee pot was chipped, breakfast was eatable. Bed comfortable. Was just ok.
Convenient, comfortable and quiet. Enjoyed our stay.
We were traveling from Texas to Alabama and stayed here. We also stayed here on our return to Texas. Very clean and very reasonably priced. Extremely nice owner who offered to help unload our luggage.
First off let me say that the price is right for what you get. If you want comfort don't stay here. We killed spiders and crickets in the room. The bed was like sleeping on concrete.
The hotel needs a desperate need of major renovation. ..the room we stayed only has 1 full size bed, instead of to. ...found bugs on the bed. ...multiple drywall holes in the bathroom. ...clogged sink ...broken light fixtures ...old carpet. I'm afraid to go barefoot. ...they only give you 2 pair of towels. The towels are old. It seem it has been used / washed multiple times. ...bathtub has cracks that was just cosmetically covered with nylon patch. ....no iron & ironing board. This hotel needs a major inspection by Days Inn, I could not believe they allow them to operate using their name.
Hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. The air conditioner worked very well. We spent all of our time visiting family in the are so we just needed a place to shower and sleep. This hotel worked very well for this trip.
Overall good experience. Comfortable bed, decent free breakfast, good service and nice location.
