ASURE Palm Court Rotorua

The welcome was excellent, and the room was beautifully presented. The bed was gigantic, and the room was spotless and very well stocked with bathroom and kitchen supplies. As with many Rotorua motels, the room has it's own self fill full size spa pool. The shower is positioned over the pool. When I was there, the weather was wet and very humid so air conditioning would have been a wonderful thing to have. Parking is not a problem. Breakfast can be ordered through room service. The room was very quiet with regards to road noise. Multiple device free wifi was available. A great place to stay

Had a very enjoyable two night stay in the Asure and town. The motel itself was very reasonably priced and the rooms comfortable with all that one expects from good quality motels in New Zealand and the welcome warm. The Asure is located on one of the main roads into the town and probably equidistant from the lake and Te Puia Moari Village and geysers which makes it very conveniently situated. Good free wifi. Think my memory serves me right but there’s a 2% credit card charge which I have found not to be the norm during our 5 week travels round NZ.

Had a lovely welcome from Mike who spent a lot of time chatting and giving tips on where to go. Our room was very quiet at the back of the complex and was extremely warm. There was a fab provided for comfort. There was everything you needed in the room including fresh milk for a drink. The location is very good for getting to the different areas of Rotorua and the lake is around a mile walk. Laundry was done for 10 dollars. Spa bath was very nice. Would stay again

The motel is in a great location, handy to everything, the rooms are high quality and immaculate. Mike and Anya are fantastic hosts, friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble for them and they will spend time explain the Rotorua attractions or just to talk. I certainly recommend this motel.

Old motel with tired room/bathroom. Kitchen and bathroom sinks have 2 separate faucets, which is very unpractical. No air conditioning, no ceiling fan (although a table fan is provided). You can hear the traffic noise at night if the windows are left open. There is a lack of attention to details (e.g. the TV channel list does not match the reality). Location is pretty distant from the center, a car is needed. There are a number of good points though. The room was clean. The bed is comfortable. I had a large kitchen. Fresh milk is provided upon check-in. The Wi-Fi is free and unlimited.

After having a horrific experience at a previous motel, we walked into Palm Court Motel, Mike & Anya made us so welcome. We had clothes that needed washing which was done overnight & ready for us in the morning, we also needed to arrange for some printing to be done, nothing was a problem for them. They provided us with local points of interest that we could visit during our short stay & the friendliness & courtesy that they gave to us was impeccable. We thank you both so much for our memorable stay in Rotorua. We would definately recommend this to motel to anyone wanting to stay in Rotorua.

Because of the holidays my stay was divided amongst two different motels. I stayed at Palm Court my last night of my trip. Great customer service! I came by unannounced at 11AM hoping for early check in as I had to be at work at 12. Room was ready so not a problem. The owner showed me the room and how to work the spa tub out back and made sure I had everything I needed. I had a one bedroom with the spa tub outside. Building is old but they have updated decor and everything was clean and tidy. I didn’t get to use the kitchen facilities but it looked standard. When I returned after work I used the spa tub. They give you a small glass of bubble bath to use. Tub was large and would accommodate 3-4 people no problem (more if you don’t mind getting cozy). I was a little bummed the jets shut off at 11pm but it doesn’t stop you from still using the tub. The owner said this was to discourage people staying out too late and disturbing other guests. I totally respect that and had no problem with it. Parking was assigned and right in front of the room. When outside in tub I could hear my neighbors but when in my room I didn’t hear a thing. Bed was comfy. Nothing to complain about here. Would definitely stay again.

Upon arrival at Palm Court Motel, Mike & Anya made me feel so welcome, & friendly, nothing was any trouble. The motel rooms were spotlessly clean & inviting, then I found the hot tub wow brilliant. As well as getting milk for my room I found cookies & in the fridge chocolates, just a extra touch to make you welcome. Bed was comfy & warm. Having stayed in a few motels in Rotarua before can say I am now in the best one, would recommend this to all.. If in future I return to Rotarua I know where I shall stay This motel should be a five star motel

Anja met us at the office & showed us the room & instructions on the use of the spa. Nice clean & tidy unit, with a great spa pool however it doubles as the shower & didn't rock my wife's boat. Having the switches outside the bathroom wasn't ideal either. Little bit of dust behind the toilet door made my wife frown again. Overall one of the better places to stay in Rotorua.

Our family of 4 recently stayed one night in Rotorua at Asure Palm Court. This accommodation is ok for a night and we had booked a one bedroom place which had a small kitchenette. At this motel, the kids single beds are in the bedroom which leads out onto the hot tub area and the double bed was in the main area. The kids enjoyed the hot tub at this and the accommodation was not excessively noisy despite being on quite a major road. There are communal laundry facilities but it costs $10 NZD a load to do some washing so we didn't bother. There are lots of brochures at the front with ideas for things to do an see which is good and parking is at the front of your motel unit making it easy to access luggage etc. We found there was definitely an ongoing smell of sulphur but given our location suspect that would be true of anywhere in this area.
