This is a lovely hotel with a wonderful staff and in an excellent location. It is easy walking distance from the train station and right off the main shopping and restaurants. It is also near the museum which is a must-see. The bottom floor holds a surprise; I won’t ruin it for you and you will have to see for yourself!

We had a reservation at a sister-property the "Erzscheidergarden". Reservation was made through Expedia. When we got there the Erzscheidergarden was locked up for the season. It was raining, cold and miserable and very difficult to get anyone at the reference number on the door. Of course, Expedia (or Expedia's computers) really doesn't care and no one at the hotel had the courtesy to contact us. We eventually reached someone at the Roros Hotell, it's sister property. We stayed there instead. Maia, the front desk person was a delight and took very good care of us. The room at the Roros Hotell was not luxurious but was very good. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was terrific!

Utrolig koselig hotell med hyggelig betjening. Ligger meget sentralt ved kirken. Kort vei til det meste slik at man slipper å tenke på bil. Våknet til lukten av nystekte vafler. Anbefa på det sterkeste.

Frokostmenyen var helt nydelig, rommene veldig koselige, peisestuen ble brukt som oppholdsrom for oss 4 vennepar, og der var det tilgang til kaffe/te/kakao og småkaker. Elles var hotellet utstyrt med fine gjenstander - godt for syn og sjel. Og servicen var utmerket. Til og med sparkstøttinger var til låns! Totalopplevelsen var veldig god!
