The apartment is in a perfect location, has a beautiful patio, and is small but comfortable inside. Host was excellent. The only caution is, there are significant stairs and a very tight toilet area (didn't bug us much). I would definitely stay here again, particularly during sunny weather when you can enjoy the patio.
We had a great stay in a nice cosy flat. The terrace on the roof is amazing. And Travastere is an amazing part of town to be in! The vibe in the evening is great, there are many people outside. But it’s not loud upstairs in the flat. We will be happy to be back here!
We were very pleased with the apartment and especially loved all the outdoor space. The kitchen is small, but well-equipped and functional for our needs. We were welcomed and shown around very graciously and our checkout process was also great. We very much appreciated help getting our luggage up and down the stairs! We were surprised by how much of a party area the neighborhood had become and found it noisy at night with the windows open, but fine when they were closed.
The terrace is large and really great for extending the space. Easy to find some moments alone, without being cramped in a small room with someone during down time. Definitely on our approved rental list for next time!Recommended

A lovely view in Trastevere
We stayed at this lovely terrace apartment for six nights during a hot week in Rome. The apartment was a cool oasis to return to each day! Even when the temperatures were too warm for the fantastic patio space, we had views from inside to enjoy.
The location was ideal, most days ended with a walk home over the pedestrian-only Ponte Sisto. The kitchen had all the basics necessary to cook our own dinner. I strongly recommend this terrace apartment.

A GEM IN THE LIVELY TRASTEVERE NEIGHBORHOOD!
My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this centrally-located studio. Francesco is great. When we ran into a problem of our phones disallowing calls within Italy, Francesco continued to follow through when he didn’t hear from us until he at last made contact. It must have been frustrating on his end, yet he was gracious & understanding when we finally met. He was also great helping with bags, explaining the apt, patiently helping when we couldn’t figure out how the keys/doors functioned, & in arranging our transfer to the airport. Views from the terrace are lovely, & though there is no actual seating area inside, one of our fave memories will be sitting back on the bed drinking Prosecco & looking at the incredible Roman vista through the large window opposite. The location in Trastevere is fabulous; right in the midst of a plethora of cafes & trattorie, most of them wonderful (our meal in the ristorante downstairs was “ok” & not helped by a crabby manager). Out the door to the right, a 3-min walk takes you to Piazza Trilussa & the Ponte Sisto bridge. Over the bridge is the lively & fun Campo di Fiori. A 25-min walk along the Tiber on the Trilussa side brings you to St. Peter’s Sq. Out the apt to the left brings you to more cafes & to the lovely Piazza di S. Maria. This way lays, also, the Gianicolo hill, a shorter distance than we imagined (about a 15 min walk) & worth a visit. The views are spectacular here (great photo ops!). Grab a glass of vino from a kiosk & sit on the wall to enjoy the vista. Some things to know about the apt: •It is small, much smaller than the pics convey;but as we were out all day & also ate out, it was more than enough for 2. •It is noisy on Fri & Sat nights. It did not bother us as we enjoyed the novelty of being in Rome & immersed in the vibrant neighborhood energy, but if you need complete silence to sleep, there may be better options. We DID, however, leave the ALL the windows open; these can be closed which may block sounds. •It’s 5 flights up but the views are worth it! •Major drawbacks were on the terrace. As we mentioned these to Francesco, they may be resolved for new renters. The 2 loungers & the umbrella were broken & there were many dead plants. Regardless, we were charmed by the little apt & the terrace views, &, overall, staying here was a lovely & charming experience. We would recommend the apt to friends with the caveat that the terrace had a 'refresh.' Many sincere thanks to Francesco for his kind help!

Liked: Check-in, communication
Disliked: Cleanliness
Appartement fonctionnel.
Quartier très vivant le soir.
Gestion et contact de la location parfait
A refaire

Fabulous stay!
The apartment was perfect for our weekend in Rome. We loved being right in the historic center of Trastevere, walking distance to the Roman Forum and surrounded by wonderful restaurants. The apartment also worked well when a friend arrived to stay the night. Having a driver pick us up and bring us back to the airport was very convenient. Thanks so much.

the terraces!!
a small fairly well kept room up many handsome stairs, a secret hideaway in the sky. the terraces are spectacular with sun all day, tho the plantings had been sadly neglected during a hot summer. trastevere is gorgeous, touristic, well-located, noisy at night, and joyous, and this apartment is in the dead center of all of it. the manager was kind and caring and attentive.

Great Place To Stay In Rome in October!!!!
We had a wonderful time staying in this Trastevere apartment. The apartment is in a great neighborhood within walking distance of the sights and has great trattorias, pizzerias and enotecas right out the door at nights. I was somewhat worried about the noise, but it calmed down around 11:30 p.m. and very quiet through the night and morning. Perfect for staying out a little late and then sleeping in the morning. The inside of the apartment is very functional and cute and the deck is beautiful and a great place to spend mornings and late afternoons/early evenings. The weather was 70s/80s in mid-October perfect. I hope to come again in the next couple of years. Thanks for the lovely time, Becky.

Good location
Firstly, the apartment is located centrally in the Trastevere neighbourhood. Very awesome area, hip, happening and fun! The apartment offers a very attractive roof-top terrace which has some nice views and privacy. Lots of nearby bus stops for transport to the other areas of Rome. Some amazing restaurants are nearby which offer some authentic Roman cuisine. Try to avoid the tourist traps!
This is where the good news ends. Upon arrival, we had to wait almost 1.5 hours before someone came and met us to give us the key to the apartment. The wi-fi did not work and the person did not know how to fix it or give us a solution. The hot water tank was broken and there was no hot water. The bathroom is tiny and the shower leaks from the bottom. The apartment itself is very small and located at the top of the building. This means a lot of narrow and winding stairs with no elevator. Not much fun with luggage!
The owner was quick on response and had the internet and hot water fixed the following day, but something that should have been looked at prior to a renter arriving after many hours of travel. A hot shower and the ability to check email on wi-fi would have been nice.
All in all, an average stay.
