El apartamento consta de 3 habitaciones dobles con baño en suite y otro baño completo fuera de las habitaciones con bañera. Tiene 1750 pies cuadrados con 4 baños, sala, comedor, cocina, 3 balcones (2 en la calle principal). Disponible una terraza para uso exclusivo de los clientes, NO en el mismo piso del apartamento, para comer al aire libre en los tejados de Roma y con un agradable recorrido por el área del Vaticano y el Observatorio Astronómico Monte Mario. El huésped puede disfrutar de la terraza para tomar el sol mientras espera la próxima visita al sitio turístico o tomar una copa de vino mientras disfruta de una hermosa vista de Roma.
El apartamento está en el primer piso de un edificio de principios de 1900 (muchos elementos arquitectónicos de la propiedad son originales de principios de 1900). El apartamento está ubicado en una de las calles principales del área del Vaticano y se encuentra frente a uno de los mejores y famosos mercados cubiertos de Roma, a pocas cuadras del Museo del Vaticano y a 5 minutos del metro.

Directly accross the street from the VRBO called Mercato Trionfale. We visited it 4 times during our stay. It is the largest fresh market for chesses, meats, seafood, pasta, vegetables, probably in the world. You can buy items to take back to the VRBO and also find places to eat already cooked food Do not miss it.The area is quiet and safe located off the tourists track in a Roman neighborhood. A delicous and reasonably priced osteria located within a 2 minute walk just around the corner is VostrOsteria. Save room for the homemade gelato made to order at your table.Francesca makes check in easy sending you all of the information ahead of time. Although we never met her in person, she is very friendly and helpful calling several times to make sure everything was going well. The only problem we had was the slow washing machine. It is a combo washer-dryer. It takes hours to complete a load. It may have been operator error... The VRBO is very clean and an extra plus in the large refrigerator - freezer. If you wake up in the night and walk out of your room you do not need to look for a light switch as hallway lights automatically turn on lighting your way. We had several Roman cousins over 2x for dinner. The kitchen is easy to cook in and the dining room take is large. Last, the showers are the biggest any of us have seen in Rome or even our own homes. The Vatican Roof Garden apartment in Rome was the PERFECT place for our group. There were six of us (3 couples) and we stayed for 8 days. The location was great which allowed us to walk to most everything we wanted to do in Rome. Francesca the host was so easy to work with and communicated easily. We even worked with Francesca to have a professional chef prepare a wonderful dinner in the apartment for us one evening of our stay, which was fabulous. Very memorable trip - highly recommend the Vatican Roof Garden for your visit to Rome.

All of us loved staying at Francesca’s VRBO. You can walk to the Vatican and enjoy cappuccino at La Florentino a restaurant downstairs on the corner. You will not regret booking this lovely property!

Amazing location and accommodations

Locating the building then finding the apartment was challenging, but after that, it was perfect! The common area leaves very little seating, but once we decided to just gather around the dining table, that issue was solved. There is an amazing open market right across the street where you can find anything from food to clothing. Great restaurants we could walk to in minutes. We will return again on our next Rome adventure.

Great location, exquisite apartment, roof top views

We throughly enjoyed our stay. Apartment is located just outside the Vatican City. You are close to metro, hop on hop off bus and you can walk everywhere. We enjoyed the neighbourhood restaurants. Had we stayed longer we would have taken advantage of the rooftop to bbq, to eat and to sunbathe. The bedrooms were comfortable and the showers and baths were lovely. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Perfect location

Our family of 6 adults appreciated the apartment was in a more residential area. We were a short walk to the Vatican and an easy Metro ride to the Colosseum, but enjoyed being away from the crowds. The multiple and well appointed bathrooms were especially nice. The beds were adequate.

Great Stay in Rome

Really enjoyed our stay at Francesca's place. Best VRBO experience yet. Close to the Vatican and lots of restaurants. If you are visiting Rome I highly recommend this apartment.
