I slept at this hotel last December , and they charged me money for my stay twice . Once last December and another time in February. Completely rediculous and unprofessional. After contacting the hotel few times , I was refused to get a refund for the second transactions. If you visit this hotel , check your bank account just in case you have any extra money that they can charge extra.
It was very difficult to find on our own. We got into Rome in the early morning and was not able to check in until noon, which is understandable. We stored our bags at termini and went exploring. When it came time to check in the location was somewhat confusing. We made a phone call and finally found the place. We actually had 2 reservations since we arrived early and was able to move rooms after breakfast, so as to not interrupt our plans. The apartments we had were clean, the first one had a small kitchen and nice size bathroom, the next had a very small bathroom and bigger kitchen. We prefer the larger bathroom! Kitchen supplies and cookware was limited- we did cook a couple meals, so it is possible. But the location is excellent. Walking distance to the colosseum, Roman forum, and Very near the subway (cavour) and bus lines. Breakfast is brought to the room and somewhat monotonous, with the same thing every day(except Sunday when yogurt is served) but the coffee included was excellent and beats having to go out for breakfast.
I have been in sign suite , the worst room I have even seen , pretty dirty , no room service shows up ! The breakfast was very poor we order cappuccino but we got cold a little coffee and some dirty croissant , the service boy does not know the manner , as well. I recommend stay away from that dirty suite
We found an apartment at SignorSuite Colosseo that matched our needs for one double bed, and two separate single beds in separate rooms. With the help of a map we found the right place, which is only advertised by a small notice by the front door. This is not a hotel in itself, but consists of some apartments in a regular apartment building, and so there is also no hotel reception, lounge etc, but we didn't need that. Our little apartment had a bedroom with a loft with an additional bed, a living room with another bed, and small kitchen and a bathroom, and it was spacious enough for the four of us and our luggage. The kitchen eqipment was so-so. We ended up not cooking any meals there, and would probably have had some difficulty doing so except for the most basic things. The kitchen, along with the rest of the apartment, was not sparkly clean either - not really bad, but it certainly could have been better. We couldn't get the air condition working (luckily it was late October and not too terribly hot), and maybe worse - the hot water kept coming and going, which made showering an adventure for the brave. Breakfast is brought to you in your room, and is certainly nothing fancy, but it is something at least, and we were glad for the yoghurt and fresh fruit to supplement the sweet breads and plastic cup coffee. The location, however, is great, only a few minutes' walk to the Basilica San Pietro in Vincoli with a grand Moses statue by Michaelangelo, and only a few minutes' more to the Colosseum - and from there you can continue walking to most of the main sights in Rome. There is also a metro station quite close by (Cavour), but Rome is best explored on foot if possible. The convenient location was the best part of our stay here, but we may look for a different place to stay for our next visit (although it is not impossible that we could stay here again.) On a side note, the apartment building is quite old, and I enjoyed the chance to see one of these old Roman apartment buidlings from the inside - and as with any old building, it is a combination of charm and inconveniences. As for the neighborhood, it seemed quiet, even though it was so central. The wifi in the room was a little sketchy, but mostly worked for us.
We stay for just one night but it was comfortable and clean. Good breakfast. Perfect location near Colosseo and Fori imperiali and other main tourist attractions and olso near the metro station (Cavour). Tip: call after booking to inform the staff.
We made the booking via hotels.com with FULL payment and it was stated "Apartment, 1 Bedroom, Kitchenette". But when we reached the place, we was told tat the apartment with kitchen WAS TAKEN!!! we was there 4 DAYS. we gotten a small tiny room, even ask for bowl also they DUN HAVE. The owner even threaten us said if u wan u can leave but I will not pay you!!! We are unable to contact hotels.com and we have no choice but to stay. Please do not stay in this place!!!! they use pretty photo to attract you then offer you a totally different room without notifying you upfront. The toilet is clog and become swimming pool after u bath. The room is dirty The aircon is not cooling The owner is cocky and irresponsible
my partner and I stayed here for approximately one week on the 8th April. Our stay was very comfortable and the bed was so lovely and comfortable! We were a bit dubious at first because of all the comments on here, however, I strongly advise you ignore all the negativity because it just isn't true! Our plane was delayed for three hours so we missed the late check in time as we arrived at gone midnight. We were really touched that Shah (not sure if that's his name!) had stayed to wait for us. He was very informative and advised us to where the nearest shop was and the Colosseum, which, it turns out is only a five minute walk away. We had never been to Rome but didn't even need to look at a map as it is so close to everything. As you leave the B&B, turn left and keep walking until you come to a restaurant called La Base, we ate there five nights it was amazing and really cheap! Anyway, my partner and I stayed in the double room with an external bathroom but it was very comfortable and it was wonderful waking up each morning to breakfast in bed. However, we are now sick of Nutella haha. Just to advise you, if you book the double room, there is no kitchenette or anything, it does say on the site but I had misread it. Overall lovely stay, very clean, great location and terrific hosts. Look forward to staying again in future.
Originally I was booked for Il Sesto Suites up the street but the owner of both establishments emailed me to say they had made a mistake and the original hotel was overbooked. He offered to book me here at the same price. I was skeptical but really had no choice. Turns out the new place was great. We had all the same amenities I asked for and the staff(and owner by email) were very friendly. Breakfast was served to you in person in the room by the staff. Basically you fill out a menu the night before and they bring it to you at the time of your choice the next morning. By the end of my stay, breakfast was a little skimpy which is why I knocked off a ratings point but it really is a minor gripe. Wifi worked, tv worked, staff came in and cleaned while we were out, room was spacious enough and good water pressure in shower. I would definitely stay here again because the location is perfect.
Nice place. Clean. GREaT location just 200m from Colosseum and metro station. Beautiful rooms! Nicely decorated. AND many BRAVOS to Milon Hossain for everything! He is THE man! Loking forward to visiting again...
The suite was very cute and confy, we were 4 people and we even had an extra bed. It was clean and the staff was really nice. The ubication was awesome, walking less than 5 minutes you can see the Colosseo. They left us the breakfast even when we were sleeping ultil late, so wakig up and seeing breakfast ready its really nice. The internet worked very good, we even watch some movies. Totally recomend it.
