The apartment has been completely renovated in June 2007, is very quiet and nevertheless located in the central and lively quarter “Appio – San Giovanni”. Just outside the building there are shops, restaurants, cinemas, supermarkets and all kind of services. The flat is very conveniently located since underground line A stop ‘Furio Camillo’ (exit towards Via Furio Camillo) is just a stone’s throw and in three stops or 15 minutes’ walking along the commercial street Via Appia you reach San Giovanni Basilica. The historical centre is also reachable by underground and the journey up to Piazza di Spagna takes about 15 minutes. San Pietro (Vatican city) is also directly connected by underground line A (the journey takes approximately 20 minutes). The main railway station Termini is connected by underground line A and the journey is about 10 minutes or by bus line 16. In addition, the flat is located at a walking distance (400 m) from the railway station Tuscolana (exit Via Tuscolana and then turn left) which has continuous express connections to Fiumicino/Leonardo da Vinci airport (the ticket price is 5.50 € - journey about 30 minutes).Along Via Appia and Via Tuscolana there are also direct bus connections to the historical city centre and other areas of the city.The flat is also located at a walking distance (about 15 minutes) from the beautiful Caffarella/Appia Antica natural park: a huge natural park where you will find sheeps and horses (just in the heart of the city!) and also vestiges from ancient periods. Great place to stay

The apartment was just what we needed for our stay in Rome. The unit is up 3 flights of stairs but there’s a small elevator in the building. The apartment had all the amenities we needed, including a washer and outdoor lines to dry our clothes. It’s two blocks from the metro, which runs really frequently, so it’s very convenient. Would stay again!

We sent the listing to our friends in Rome to vet for us - they told us immediately to book it. This was a great location for our stay - close to the metro, restaurants, grocery stores, and a great gelato place. We had 3 adults and this was just the right size for us. Everything was as described. Great communication with Luigi for check in and check out. Our group was very thankful for the A/C in the heat and humidity of July!

Location Meant Everything

Even though we didn’t stay where all the action was (Colosseum, Vatican, and Trevi, etc), we could get to the attractions by short train ride. The station was within a couple blocks, or nearby bus was another option. This property was as promised and located in a neighborhood that was alive with locals and their families out socializing with each other. Plenty of highly rated eateries. Gelatarias and pizza spots galore. AC worked well. Kitchen was a huge plus.

"We stayed at Claudia and Luigi's apartment for only 3 days and wish that we could have stayed longer. The apartment has everything that you need. It was just as it looked in the photos. It is very conveniently located close to both the train and metro stations. It is about a 10-15 minute ride on the metro to anywhere you need to go in downtown Rome. Lots of grocery stores nearby. Both the pizza place and the gelato shop that Luigi suggested were excellent. We had a great stay and wouldn't hesitate booking with Claudia and Luigi again. I threw my coin in the Trevi fountain so I should be back soon;)"

I proprietari sono stati rapidi nel risolvere una mancanza (moka) e molto gentili nel darci qualche ora in più dopo l'orario di normale check-out. Self check-in efficace, anche se non regolamentare. Rilevatore di gas presente, ma senza batterie...Appartamento comodo a tantissimi servizi e vicino alla metro linea A, grazie alla quale ci si può spostare davvero agevolmente. L'appartamento è spazioso e confortevole, nonostante abbia forse bisogno dpratassenti.

L'appartamento è pulito,funzionale,meravigliosa la doccia,ampia e ben collocata,così come ho trovato molto comoda la grande cabina armadio,la camera da letto silenziosa e intima è molto piacevole. Bello il soggiorno con un attrezzatissime angolo cottura.In definitiva una piacevole casa dove rifugiarsi dopo aver visitato la bella Roma. Sicuramente tornerò a soggiornarvi.Grazie.

L'appartement est propre, calme, à 2 pas du métro qui dessert la place d'espagne, le vatican, etc! Description de la location conforme. Claudia est très réactive et répond aux moindres interrogations. Plusieurs cafés à côté pour un petit dej sans aucun touriste avant de débuter les visites! A recommander!

La prima cosa positiva da dire è la vicinanza alla fermata della metro Furio Camillo e anche le fermate dei bus sono facilmente raggiungibili a piedi facendo tappa per un'ottima colazione a 1 € al Gallo Umbro! :) Nelle vicinanze dell'appartamento ci sono tre supermercati e numerose pizzerie. L'appartamento all'interno è fornito di tutto, base ideale per scoprire la bellissima Roma.
