The check in was easy (I arrived midday), the two staff members were very nice and everything downtown was within walking distance. The room does stay loud until about 3 am, though, so bring ear plugs.

The location is wonderful. The staff are fine. The room needs some basic maintenance. The most important thing would be to replace some worn out electrical plugs. A bit of carpentry and a touch of paint would also make a big difference.

Small hotel in a great location in historic Rome. Our 3rd floor room was noisy until early morning hours, from the restaurants on the street below. We wore earplugs to sleep. Easy walk to restaurants, coffee shops and transit to historic sites.

This hotel is in a great location! Walkable to all major sightseeing in Rome. The hotel had a broken shower head holder so you had to hold it in one hand. There was chewed gum stuck to the top of one of the bedside tables. There is construction outside right in front of the hotel which is noisy in the morning.

When we arrived there were no pillowcases on any of the pillows, no towels for showering, and the room appeared to be in the middle of cleaning, so we did not know what was clean and what was not. There were lots of ants everywhere as well and when we addressed our complaints with the front desk there was not even an apology.

I picked a great location-Piazza Navona, Patheon, Trevi fountain, Vatican and others are all within walking distance. Lots of sidewalk cafe, Gelato places around as well. The hotel has no elevator, which we already know and it’s not a problem for us. We also know about the staff time at the desk is from 9-5. My only complaint would be, getting multiple messages about our arrival time and such. We’ll reply with an approximate time frame, but still receive messages asking about arrival time. Also had to email our passport over, we try to accommodate as much as possible, but when you’re traveling, these can become annoyances. They do have an after-hour procedure. I feel if they just make that clear and easy, then everything should be fine.
