An excellent hotel located nicely along the sea, easy access to restaurants and an easy 30 minutes drive to the airport. Very comfortable rooms. 4th floor was a great! Viewing deck, great bar with simple drinks and the breakfast is really well done. Fantastic staff on site. Rooms were fantastic. Overall experience was great! Excellent value for money.
We booked this hotel for our first night in Italy since it was near the airport. The room was a seaview room as advertised, nicely furnished, with a spacious shower, a refrigerator, and a safe. All the staff at reception were friendly and helpful, providing directions and advice on transportation, and collectively could speak a number of languages. The breakfast had a great variety of hot and cold items, and was better than the breakfasts at other places we stayed.
We booked a supreme room with sea views, and it certainly did not disappoint. We arrived early into Fiumicino airport. Getting to the hotel from the airport might be tricky, if you take a taxi you need to look for the local taxi stand. Most website and airport information will tell you it costs about 25 Euros, they wanted 48. Don't do it, the local bus is easy. They stop outside of terminal 1, and tickets are 1.50 eruos at the machine, or 7 euros from the bus driver. The bus took 25 minutes to the LidoCentro train station, which was a 7 minute to the hotel. The hotel is a modern building, glass covered, and directly across the road from the beach. We had arrived earlier than check in time, but were lucky enough to be given a room anyway. The room made good use of the smallish space, but we did not feel in any way cramped or restricted. The bed was comfortable. There is a safe and a refrigerator, but there was not an iron - we'd have liked an iron, but again, not big deal. The bathroom was modern, trendy, with a huge walk in shower. Really nice. There are plenty of places to eat locally, and the beach directly opposite will hire you a lounger for 9 euros. We were happy to pay this rather than walk to the really busy public beach further down the road. We found the staff really welcoming and friendly, my Italian is poor at best, but all the staff spoke English. They offer a continental style breakfast which had so much choice and was a great start to the day. All in all, we loved our time at Fly Deco. Make sure to go up the roof terrace and watch the sun set.
We stayed for one night. The hotel room and bath room was modern, clean and comfortable. However, their website advertises an ‘agreement with private beach’ - not sure what this means I assumed this meant we’d be able to use the beach across the road without paying which is incorrect.
Stayed here for 1 night post cruise. Modern, clean and welcoming staff. Room was small but comfortable with a powerful shower. Breakfast was simple but decent enough. Cappuccino freshly made for you - just ask. Staff at breakfast very friendly. My only issue was the air con, it malfunctioned at night (far too warm) and I had to attend reception to have it reset at 1am. Decided to spend a couple of hours on the beach (chargeable) Beach towels (standard room towels) were charged at 5 euros per towel !. Despite these minor issues, I would definitely stay again. The square is about a 10 min walk and is a hive of activity with some lovely restaurants.
Do not book this hotel. The staff are deceptive and cheating. I booked the sea view room (€149) and instead was given a side view room. Staff had mixed up a booking and gave our room away. This they did not tell us, they just gave us the room key and hoped we didn't notice. When I went down to reception to confront them of the mistake, they said that could not offer us any other room. I reminder him I had booked and paid for the sea view room, only then, he offered me to pay the room at "discounted price" of €100. I quickly checked the prices of that room online and they were being offered at €79!! 10 minutes later (after I explained everything to my husband and showed him the internet search) the room price was lowered to €69! The staff refused to lower the price. Next morning the staff tried to help but refused again to lower the price to the market value! I was told that the manager was absolutely not available but that he would contact me on Monday, after several email and facebook reminders the manager finally replied to me on Wednesday, but again refused to refund me to the market value of the room. Cheating and deceptive! Book this hotel at your own risk! If you book, I truly hope that you get the room you booked and paid for and not be cheated like we were. A really sad end to our first Italian holiday. Otherwise the room was as to be expected (the same as the hotels photos), it was clean, had a nice roof top area (however the rooftop bar is only open one evening per week) and had a small continental breakfast.
Spent 2 nights here, clean room, complimentary still & sparkling waters & coke & Fanta each day & plenty of space in fridge for own supplies...no costly contents provided!. Great shower. Breakfast sufficient if you get there in good time.
My husband booked this hotel because it was close to the Leonardo da Vinci Airport as we had an early morning flight the following day. This hotel is just across the street from the beach and is close to restaurants of all types. It has spacious rooms with modern decore. Their breakfast bar had a wide variety of things to eat and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
The fly Deco Hotel is not a fancy place but it is not too far from the airport and right across the street from the beach. When we got there around 7PM there was a buffet available for 10E. We booked a double room thinking that meant for two people but ended up with two connecting rooms. No problem, we used the second room as a place got lay out our suitcases! There were outlets near the bed always a plus and the bathroom was clean and had a shower. Breakfast was good. This place was perfectly fine for a one night stay.
I don’t understand how anyone could leave a negative review?? After 3 weeks with cheaper hotels, Airbnb’s and hostels this place was amazing. To start they 100% do have a shuttle from the airport and, the entire hotel is brand new. The staff is so pleasant and helpful. The bathroom was very clean and the rainfall shower was such a wonderful way to end our trip. The bed was perfect and so comfortable. The room itself was very quiet and we had booked an ocean view room so were able to enjoy that. Checking out was so simple and the gentleman at the front desk was very kind. It was a wonderful way to end our trip and I would recommend this place to anyone.
