Travelling as a family of 6 it is sometime difficult to get taxis big enough so the location of this apartment is brilliant. Walking distance to everything. All the sights of Rome, the Vatican, Trastevere and we even walked to Testaccio for a food tour. The apartment itself is beautiful, comfortable, well appointed, very clean and the air conditioning was lovely. So many restaurants nearby plus a little supermarket which was handy for breakfast supplies. I would highly recommend this accomodation to anyone but it was really great for a family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The apartment is very modern, designer interior, equipped with care for the customers. Amazing balcony with a wonderful picturesque view on the city and the river! The apartment is totally comfortable< you have everything you need there! The building is very beautiful, there is a concierge downstairs, a big elevator. We asked to book a certain apartment (#29) and appreciated the attention of the personal in helping us to get it. The only problem was with the late check-in, we had to pay for it but still had problems with getting in and arranging the meeting (had to wait for 30 minutes in the street). However the check-out was strict at 10 am.
The beauty, cleanliness, professionalism and just pure comfort of the surroundings and the location itself was great! Walk to any of the major attractions/monuments/historic center. The views were breathtaking from the top floor we rented. Only downside for me were the twin beds were a little narrow for full grown American adults. Either way, we would totally stay there again! And totally recommend it!
Gorgeous apartment in an ideal location close to Spanish Steps and Trevi Founation and just a 30 minute walk from Colleseum and Vatican- hugely let down by lack of hot water for the 4 days. With 4 people sharing 1 bathroom this was really not ideal- also found the bath not clean enough and particularly the bath mat was very grimey! Floors were a little dusty and mucky throughout the apartment as a whole. If the hot water can be sorted this would be a stunning, ideally located, apartment to stay!
It is a nice apartment in a excellent location, The person who greeted us and handed over the apartment was very good. The balconies are beautiful, we stayed in the 2 bedroom unit and it had 3 balconies. I loved the 10-12 foot high ceilings. I did not give a 5 rating as there are hot water issues, also furniture was not the most comfortable, and it was not decorated very well, big beautiful walls and no paintings or pictures. The vent for the stove above cupboards is poorly done. This place with a bit of tweaking could be a 5 rating easily, maybe the owners should spend a night or 2 there and see its shortfalls. Our stay was good, we loved having an apartment in Rome, but what we paid for it I would expect that these details should have not occurred , no or inconsistent hot water is a pretty important thing, they need to correct this.
From when we first arrived at this apartment we were treated exceptionally well by our point of contact who made their way to meet us. GG was very meticulous in his handover of the apartment to us. He was good at his explanations and spoke relatively good English which helped. The apartment was on the forth floor of the Ripetta building which was well furnished with modern trimmings. The Location was fantastic as it was close to many of the touristy attractions. The apartment had a balcony the we used often to just watch the traffic go by and people watch which was so relaxing sipping on a drink. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchenette and the bathroom had all the modcons you would want in it. The apartment was so relaxing and cool with all the marble walls and floor and it has air-conditioning in the bedroom and lounge/dining area. The hand back of the property was simplistic and stress free and had no issues what so ever with our stay. I would certainly stay at this apartment if visiting Rome again.
The apartment is in the best location of Rome - this is a quote from our shuttle driver! Rome is for walking, but the public bus does pass very close. The location is perfect for visits to the major attractions. The apartment is beautiful. Security is top notch. An automatic door opens at the piazza level, then a short flight of steps to the elevator. The halls are marble with gorgeous woodwork. The elevator holds 4 people easily. The apartment is spotless! Our apartment was #29 on the fourth floor European. A nice size foyer led to the living space, a combo living/dining/kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a two burner stove, a Nespresso machine, a toaster, a dishwasher, pots and pans and all dishes. A starter supply (more than enough for 4 days) of detergent, paper towels, etc. is provided. The apartment has a washer and drying rack. The air conditioning works well and is turned on at your discretion. The bedroom is spacious with a comfortable bed and nice linens. The bathroom is very stylish with a whirlpool tub, and bidet. Shampoo and soap, adequate for the length of your stay, are supplied. A hair dryer is provided. The balcony brings Rome to your room. Watching the drivers is more entertaining than TV (satellite). Our balcony wrapped around with views of Ara Pacis and the Tiber River. Gianluigi is your host and will meet you upon arrival. He made excellent recommendations for restaurants. We tried every one on his list and were pleased. He can direct you to the grocery (I bought extra coffee pods here suitable for the Nespresso machine). He is available in case of any emergency. The lock on our door jammed one day and he had a lock smith there on a Sunday afternoon very quickly. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. This was a return visit. We have rented 3 different apartments and they were all beautiful.
We had a great time in this appartement. As others have said it is slam bang in the middle of all the fun, we looked out over the river towards the vatican. The bed is huge, the rooms are very clean and well equiped. My daughter had a ball sitting on the balcony waving at the open top busses passing by, yes the road is noisy but the double glazing works well, and sitting in the sun with the view and the hussle and bussle below, makes the Roman experience complete. We walked everywhere even the colloseum is only a half hour walk. The kitchenette was sufficient for breakfast and we had some goodies delivered for the first morning, juice, jam, fruit, bread, coffee. ( there's a nespresso machine and a percolator. The hot water wa enough for 2 showers, however when my daughter wanted to have a bath in the evening it turned cold half way. Supermarket around the corner, lots of nice shops, well lit in the evening, felt safe walking around even at night. Will definitely stay here again next time we're in Rome!!
Panorama Ripette is very well located. Less than 15 minutes walk to the Vatican and Castel St Angelo, Spanish steps, Piazza del Popolo and Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. Many excellent eateries are also in the area. We stayed 8 nights at Panorama Ripetta in apartment 27 (one bedroom) on the fourth floor accessible by lift. We were two people for five nights and three people for 3 nights. The apartment had a nice view of the Tiber including Ponte Umberto and ponte St Angelo and row upon row of beautiful plane trees. The rooms are spacious and clean and tidy. The main bed was firm and comfortable. The sofa bed was comfortable too. Other amenities include washing machine, dish washer, AC and TV and big roomy cupboards. A couple of maintenance issues-dishwasher not properly fixed in place and no bathroom basin sink plug. The kitchenette was adequate and well equipped although tiny and a little hard to work in but we managed to make pasta Amatriciana, veal fillets, fillet of cod, cooked breakfast etc…. Within 5 minutes are a French Patisserie, fruit and fish markets and a Carefours supermarket with all the supplies you would need. We were given a thorough run through the equipment by the kind lady who received us. It was lovely to be able to open the big windows and let the fresh air in and look at the view. However, the traffic is noisy if you do this. The good news is that the double glazing shuts out the traffic noise very effectively. Next time we stay in Rome we will book here again.
Our 1 bedroom rental in Panorama Ripetta was literally a matter of minutes from so many of Rome’s major sights. Piazza Del Popolo, the Spanish Steps, the Borghese Gardens, the Vatican – all an easy-peesy stroll from our apartment. There is a lift, and our 1 bedroom apartment looked out over the river. The flat was lovely & spotlessly clean. Decent sized bedroom with hanging space, hangars, extra blankets; bathroom, large living room, with the kitchenette tucked away behind doors. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk, and we shopped most days at the great little Carrefour just round the back of the building, which is amazingly well-stocked and open every day till late. The kitchenette is hidden away behind folding doors. There are 2 electric hobs, toaster, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, kettle. Other folding doors conceal a washing machine, and all the cutlery and crockery. The crockery was of good quality but there was literally just enough stuff. Meant we had to run the dishwasher after virtually every meal (& we ended up buying our own capsules as the few supplied ran out). Similarly, the cooking pots and pans were fine, but j-u-s-t enough. Panorama Ripetta is in a gorgeous old building just oozing charm and dignity, and with its high ceilings and quiet elegance, it was a delight.
