Not what it seems

The property it not what it looks like it the photos. The "reception" or "check-in" area and the actual room where we stayed were nowhere near each other. Upon check-in, we learned that our room was a few blocks down from the address we were given. I think I would've been a little less disappointed if I knew this in advance. We also had a long travel day, 4 suitcases, and it was raining - so all this added to the frustration. Also, this NOT a "HOTEL" as the title says. It is an APARTMENT. When we checked in, the rep kept saying, "your apartment, your apartment" so I was a bit confused. The unit itself was decent. Not the cleanest, but it was ok. There were mosquitoes biting us all night though. The location isn't great either. Overall, very dissatisfied. The gentleman who helped us was very kind, but the property itself and the description is not as described.

Apartment near MyTale Creative Academy Hotel

We were actually put into an apartment about 5 minutes walk from the Hotel. The location was excellent and it was a very nice apartment. However the shower was very dirty, with visable mould. Although we did not use the stove top it was also not very clean. The hotel had a 4 star rating. For the reasons stated the apartment was definitely not 4 Star but we still enjoyed our visit.

I can only say about the apartment. The apartment was interrible shape. We found dirt and mold everywhere, even in the toilet paper. The staff, while friendly, wasn't able to help us in any way with the apartment. They sent someone to "clean" the apartment after we asked for a relocation, and made it worse, they left stains on the washroom and a moldy toiler paper. This really isn't what you would expect from a 4 star hotel and with the price we payed. The only redeeming thing is the location. Not even the AC had mold and dirt and hard to adjust, no remote or anything to regulate the temperature in degrees, polar vortex or almost off, choose one or the other. Would not recommend, even after engaging Expidia about our terrible experience, hotel management isn't acknowledging (they are gohsting us!) our complaints made after our first night and onwards.

This is an apartment run by the hotel. The room is in the best possible location, and was comfortable. Only issues were the apartment was not appropriately equipped. There were only 2 glasses, not enough towels, and the safe was broken. The internet was also spotty. Overall fine.

What a fantastic find. Wonderfully situated. Walkable to so much to see of Rome. Convenient to the train as well. Only thing to let people know is that it is in the ZTL area in case they rent a car!

Room was great ,air conditioned which was fantastic in 37 degree heat. Very clean , staff really friendly and location was great too nice pub garden outside and although noisy once you closed windows could hardly hear it. Great sleep for exploring wonderful city of Rome.

hotel situated next to bar/restaurant which had outside seating where people sat/ate and were basically very noisy until after 1am. Lights tripped in room every time cleaners had been in???? had to go to reception to get assistance . Main grievance was on safety grounds. Design of bath with built in shower, situated seperated from bathroom and incorporated in living area, not ideal. Coming out of bath/shower, you are then on a raised area and have to negotiate 2 steps to reach the floor level. Water from having shower runs down back wall and travels around bath and starts to gather/run down steps onto floor. Even with bath mat I still managed to slip on first step, fall back , hit my back off the edge of first step, kick and have fall on me, a heated towel rail that was leaning against wall ( obviously come away from wall previously and not reattached ), Wasn't able to grab anything to stop fall as no handrail for steps. Leaving me with a split, bleeding toe nail which required first aid. hobbled down to reception to inquire about first aid and report incident. Was given a bandage? and iodine bottle and dealt with it myself!!! Although showing initial concern, nothing else was done about this and never once, for rest of stay, was asked about my health. So to all future visitors, BE VERY CAREFUL WHIST HAVING BATH/SHOWER.

Very nice and the beds were comfy. Good AC. Kind of loud at night from the bar across the street and the fourth floor bar. I loved that it was close to the Rome city center. The guy serving breakfast was very personable!
