What a fantastic hotel very clean and tidy. Very comfortable beds free WiFi. Plenty of choice for breakfast. 10min walk to local Metro. We stayed for my 50th birthday, in 214, great shower, plenty of space to move in the room. Would recommend, very good 4 star budget hotel.
When I stayed at this hotel, I checked the grades/reviews on booking and tripadvisor but they weren't great. Then I saw the hotel was rehabilitated soon so I decided to take it. It was a good choice, the rooms were indeed new and very clean. So the hotel looked pretty good and I recommend it to you. It isn't very central though and if you decide to get around Rome with the metro, you have to know that the closest metro station is at 15 minutes walk. But you have some bus stations pretty close. So I recommend taking this hotel if you don't mind the minuses I presented to you above.
Caught the train from the airport €8 each and took about 30mins then a 5 minute taxi drive costing €7. Check in was at 2pm so we were around an hour early; no problem we left our cases there and went on a wander up the hill, crossed over to Carrefor and got the essentials bought (wine etc). Checked in,fabulous staff very informative and welcoming. Lovely, clean room; no tea/coffee in room but rang reception who promptly brought this up. First night out spent in the Italian restaurant two doors up (All' Antica Toretta), we had 2 pizzas, 2 beers, 2 proscecco, sparkling water and 2 gorgeous desserts which was €43. We slept well, we were at the back of the hotel, really comfy beds and pillows. Breakfast was great, fabulous choice of fruit, cereal, cheese, meats, pies (we call them quiche) and much more. I'm a vegetarian and fussy and I was more than happy, friendly staff continually topping up the food etc. Back to the room, the shower is amazing hot water and excellent pressure. 15 minute walk to the metro station Garbatella to get to the colosseum (3 stops) €1:50, please don't be fooled by the tickets outside !! They claim to cut down on an hours wait for tickets (waited 25 minutes) and charge €27 each when the official tickets cost €12 and can be used over 2 days for colosseum and Roman fort. Watch out for the guys who "give" you bracelets, they're going home tomorrow and need money for their families! Returned from our first day out and clean sheets and towels, room spotless. Perfecto! Enjoy 😊
We stayed here in April 2017 for a week. The hotel was constantly clean, the staff were lovely and the food were brilliant. Very close to the metro station and as it was so cheap to use the metro for the week it were perfect for getting around. Very highly recommend
We stopped here for 3 days over Easter. It is about 20 mins in a taxi ride from the airport. Reception is clean & tidy. Our room wasn't ready but they held our luggage. You will need to get the bus or metro into Rome. Bus stop is over the road & metro about 15 min walk. You will need to buy a ticket for either. We bought a 72 hour one. You. You need to buy from a tabbaconist. We used the metro as we found the buses too crowded.breakfast is continental, which was always nice. Only downside with this hotel is there aren't too many places to eat on a night. An Italian a couple of doors down is reasonable, but very plain. I would stop again.
I spent 3 nights here and would recommend it. It was spotlessly clean, the desk staff were knowledgeable and most polite, not to mention helpful. A very nice surprise was the restaurant! I had dinner one night and was afraid looking at the menu that I would not find something suitable for a vegetarian. The waiter made a suggestion which turned out to be a real winner. The waiter was also most complimentary of my Italian. That didn't hurt this review!
A lovely hotel just on the outskirts of the main tourist part of Rome. The hotel was very clean. The staff polite and helpful. The breakfast area was clean with a continental style breakfast. As much as you want to eat. The room we had was roomy with a very modern en suit . Nice comfy bed with TV . No coffee or tea making equipment but it did have an hair dryer. . The free wi-fi was poor though on my phone, I often had no reception. Getting into Rome on foot would take around 40 minutes, there was a bus service across the road for 6-7 Euros. You have to pre buy a ticket from a kiosk near by . All in all a pleasant 3 day stay. 🇭🇺👏🏼
Lovely modern clean bathroom and room.tea and coffee making facilities on request.A few good restaurants nearby.A good walk to attractions if Rome but on a good bus route.Very quiet hotel, comfortable enough for a short break
Shared a twin room with my mum, was immaculate and inviting. Reception were really helpful booking trips and taxis. Restaurant was great, breakfast was fresh and there was food to suit all tastes. We stayed on a half board basis and could not fault the choice! The starters were huge, almost a meal in itself. The hotel is a little out of the centre, but for 10 euros you could get a taxi into the city. If I visit Rome again will definitely return to this hotel. Highly recommended.
Great hotel, comfortable room which has clearly been refurbished recently. Excellent facilities - hairdryer in bathroom, room service and the evening restaurant is a gorgeous, romantic setting with excellent quality food (comparable with local prices). Not in the centre of Rome but I liked this as it is away from the hustle and bustle. Easy access to city by taxi or local bus. Staff were so friendly and approachable. Also, best night's sleep ever - mattress was unbelievable. Just an incredible hotel with great facilities and staff
