We stayed at the Hotel Caravel for 3 nights for a Rome City Break. The hotel is lovely and clean, staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was continental but absolutely delicious, beds were super comfortable, really quiet on an evening so you get a good sleep, also had air conditioning, wifi & TV. Location is fab for transport into the city, the buses 160 and 30 run from just outside the hotel and take about 10-15 minutes. Taxi into the city is about €10, airport was a set fare of €45 or can get there by bus/train. Local shops, restaurants and a lovely little deli cafe next door. Recommend to anyone visiting the city sights!

We enjoyed our stay at the Caravel, the entrance welcoming as we're the receptionist,The rooms were nice and clean a bit on the small side but user friendly all the Same, to be honest it really is a place to put your head at night. It is on a busy road but once inside you couldn't hear any road noise at all. It also offers a very good continental breakfast with fresh fruit, breads, meats, cheeses, cereals, yoghurt etc.... more than enough to satisfy most. All staff were very well presented and extremely helpful with requests.if I went back to Rome I would happily stay at the Caravel

It's is a clean, modern and friendly hotel. Ideal for all. The hotel is in fairly good location. Round the corner there is a street of local shops and restraints. Also, the nearest metro station, garbatella, which is round the corner at the end of the street. Not to mention there is a bus stop down the road, which is useful to catch buses 160 and 30 which are ideal for getting into the centre.I would advise getting a small leaflet abou the busses and metro lines as we found it very useful as well as using google maps for some guidance. Taxis for 5 people is around 50-70 euros from the airport to the hotel. Our Spent three days touring in Rome and one day at the near water park hydromania which I would recommend for family with younger kids as it gives you a chance to relax after the busy days and get a tan.which is only thirty euros in a taxi for ten hotel

After looking forward to our stay in the hotel for months we were not disappointed when we arrived. The rooms are kept to a high standard with a lovely shower. However during our stay we found most of the staff to be incredibly rude. They would answer calls when in the middle of a conversation and in general act very patronising. When we informed the front desk about finding ants in our room we were told it would be dealt with only to come back and find it had not. The hotel itself had lovely interior design along with a lovely breakfast room.

Me and my wife came here for our 1st year wedding anniversary and it didn't dissapoint. The hotel was lovely and the staff were amazing. The rooms were pretty spacious and modern. The person on the front desk couldn't do enough for you. Our safe wasn't working when we arrived and when I spoke to the front desk there was a maintenance guy upto the room within 5 min. The only problem we had was the hotel was a little bit out from the city centre ( about an hour to hour and a half walk ) but there is a bus stop across the road that takes you to city centre. (Tickets purchased at most shops for €1.50 and the ticket lasts for 100 minutes after 1st use) overall we would defo stay at this hotel again. Was a lovely experience plus what a lovely city.

The hotel is lovely and a little escape from the hustle and bustle of the city everything is easily accessible with use of the bus and metro, google maps will literally become your best friend helping you find the best route to use to get to where you wanna go! Free safe in room was a great bonus and air con was absolutely fantastic. Breakfast was standard continental nothing too extravagent but still lovely. We loved travelling to the trastevere area on an evening for romantic drinks and a meal as the atmosphere is amazing. Would highly recommend

Nice and confortable rooms, bathroom well equiped and a very good shower. Reasonable services if you consider the italian standards. Located quite far from the main atractions but acces by bus is quite easy.

Stayed here for a week while holidaying in Rome. Considering it isn't in the heart of Rome, this is a lovely hotel. Very clean and modern decor with friendly staff welcoming you on reception. The reception area itself had a very relaxed vibe. The room was adequately spacious with ensuite and was cleaned everyday with fresh towels supplied. Air conditioned which was lovely. There was also a safe in the room. Breakfast was served in continental buffet style with plenty to choose from every morning. Fresh fruit, meats, cheeses etc there was something for everyone. Waiting staff were quick to top up any plates so no one was impatiently waiting for food. It's approx 15mins walk to the nearest metro (Garbatella) which isn't too bad at all as the street you walk down is full of shops and cafes

This hotel is clean with up to date interior. Had a quick check in, the staff are not very helpful. I ask for ice cubes for in the room, the man on reception attitude was like i had asked for the earth. A woman also gave this impression when asking for directions. Anyway directions- Out of the hotel turn right AMAZING pizza! Out of the hotel turn left walk to the cross roads, cross at the crossing, shops on the right of you. Cafe, clothes shops, ice cream. Walk to the end of the road and you will come to a white bridge, and the metro station. You can buy tickets at the metro station or any tobacco shop. This hotel is about 30 minutes from the airport. Is located on the main road. Couldn't hear the noise from the room. Gave 4 stars as the staff could more helpful and there's no fridge in the room.

Hard to fault this hotel. Rooms are of a good standard, clean, comfortable and reasonably priced hotel. Staff are pleasant and professional. Breakfast is not amazing but adequate. Only issue is that the hotel is situated a little outside the centre so it means taxi or public transport but I guess you can't have it every way......😀
