Very friendly welcome and easy check in and out. The place was a bit hidden hard to find the entrance when we first arrived. The AC was not as cold, could have been colder with allowing customers to control the temperature. Our stay was 2 nights, and they accommodated me with 1 additional person staining in our room which we really appreciated. Overall we had a great experience family of 5.

We loved Mama’s Home Rome. The place was always cleaned and we were given a bottle of champagne upon arrival with water bottles and daily complementary water bottles. The location is ideal because it’s walkable to most major attractions including the Vatican which was just a short 20 minute walk from the property. Highly recommend this place and will likely book again if in Rome!

Beautiful property with an excellent location

It’s near a busy square with lots of restaurants and things to do. The rooms are spacious and modern. The only two complaints is the bathroom door in our room had two beds and a glass door to the bathroom so it didn’t feel private. Also there was an air conditioning unit near our bed and the blue light on the power button was very bright and it interfered with my sleep.

The location was great - central and almost equidistant to the Vatican and the Colosseum. The piazza where it is located is vibrant and trouristy with restaurants open until 2 am. What could improve is their service - more attention and care had to be there toward their guests. They should not promise what they could not provide. They promised me two tours on a single day (Vatican & Colosseum), which ultimately were sold out, even when I was ready to pay from the outset. This led me to me having to spend hours finding those tours myself, thus delaying the process. This is a disadvantage when you are pressed on time. The good thing: I ended up getting better deals on my own. They also promised me a ride back to the airport using a third-party company without detailing anything on how the drivef would me or vice versa. I missed them and this put me in a temporary stres, though again, I ended up getting a better deal myself. Moral of the story - do not depend on anything from this place other than simply your stay. You must know that it is a guesthouse and not a full-fledged hotel, meaning there is no 24-7 reception and no provision for breakfast...two big disadvantages on a vacation trip. If you can find a regular hotel closeby, I would recommend that over this place. Their room rates are too high for the service and value, in my opinion. Other than that, the staff were fine. Enrica was a bit hard to communcate with, Livia was very nice, Flor was friendly and great.

Location was a pleasant surprise. Hotel front entrance opens to a large square, that is home to a fun open air market every morning. Like many older buildings in Italy, the elevator is smaller than tiny, so expect to take multiple trips up if you have more than a party of two or brought more than one piece of luggage. Don't expect any hotel staff to be present to help you with your bags, which you'll need to lug up or down a few steps before and after the elevator ride. Room was large and clean. Industrial theme furnishings, which was actually kinda cool!
