Breakfast is an order-based presentation. The room is quite formal and attractive, but I would prefer a buffet and a less formal environment. The hotel is 160 meters from the Trevi Fountain, and the area around the hotel is literally packed with people. It isn't pleasant. The hotel staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. Dinner at the hotel is very expensive compared with other high-end restaurants. The suite we were in had blond wood stairs from the bedroom to the master bathroom. They are unmarked and very dangerous. This needs attention. Otherwise, the hotel is first class.

Easily the best hotel experience I’ve had lately. Exceptional service made me feel like a queen for one night. Perfect pillows, beautiful drapery, gorgeous marble bathrooms, lovely millwork in the closet. Sound proof and pitch black. Little things just worked perfectly here like the complex light switches that usually drive me insane in other places. And a very nice gym with high quality equipment (simple but quite good as far as boutique hotel gyms go). Admittedly the aesthetic of the main room didn’t attract me but the hotel is too good to mind something like that. If I ever choose to brave the overtourism of rome again I will be back.
Vegetarian and vegan options were excellent. Breakfast was fantastic.

One of the highlights was dinner at the hotel restaurant — everything we ordered was delicious, beautifully presented, and paired with exceptional service. It was one of the best meals we’ve had during our travels. The people at Hotel Maalot made this experience unforgettable. A wonderful experience.

Staying at Hotel Maalot was a special experience. The staff could not do enough for us, from the lovely breakfast to the turndown service in the evening. The location is perfect and central to all the major sites. Having the Trevi Fountain nearby was wonderful but obviously that makes the area very busy. If we go back to Rome we would definitely stay here again.
