I was upset that the upgrade was to a bed 4-6 inches off the ground and with a cracked and broken slat , woke up with half my body on the floor and some shady guests coming in the room at 3:00 am with a mask on, wasn’t very pleasant for myself or one other guest in the room ...

The hostel is located in a really good location very central it was easy to find however the hostel name outside is not that big for you to notice it. The front desk people where very friendly, also provided suggestion on places to go and there is even a restaurant next to the hostel provide great food definitely worth trying.

Best Bang for Your Buck

The front-desk stuff was super friendly and the price was fair for what they offered. The only downside is the people you will be rooming with, which is a hit-or-miss. My stay and my fellow hostel mates were very nice people overall, except for one rude guest that would disturb the tranquility in the room. The hostel is clean, very close to Termini Station, about a five-minute walk, and one of the cheapest in the area. It is a hostel so do not expect more than a bed and some sheets. For me it was not a problem, since I prefer to bring my own toiletries and towels when I travel.

This wasn't the cleanest hotel ever, but for the price it's a good deal. Can't complain. And the staff is great! Incredible linguists in just about any language, with lots of helpful info about the area. :)

I think the location is the best part of this place. However, there was a lot of noise in the room I stayed. The staff I got to interact with was extremely friendly and they helped me when I had questions about the city. The room was acceptable but then again the price is not bad. The noise was really my main concern.

Ugh

Though they “just installed” the water heater for our room, I had to keep asking for help to get the hot water to work. Was told over and over again “just push the button, it’s new”. They ran out of towels upon my arrival so I had to go buy some at the shop next door, double what the hostel charged. Second to last day we were informed of another shower that we could have used this entire time. Location was conveniently close to Termini; but no lift access. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Let Down.

Reception was lovely! Hostel wasn't. We arrived and there was no water in the entire building after a long day travelling all you want to do is have a nice shower but it was impossible with the water issue and what service fee are we paying when there is no service up to standards. Over all if you want a bed to sleep on then that's fine but if you want the extras that you pay for it would go elsewhere.

Wouldn't use again

Customer service at the front desk on arrival and departure was poor and staff were rude on all occasions we had contact with them, mostly distracted and dismissive. The lift in the building is unable for use for customers of this establishment and reserved for other guests in the same building. The room was mostly clean and hygienic although in a state of disrepair and hurried upgrading. An open fuse box underneath the sink with exposed wires doesn't look particularly safe. Overall, very noisy and a disturbed 2 nights were spent here, so much we considered moving on the first day but as you can expect reasonably priced accommodation was already full.
