4 nights accommodation was booked (and paid for) through our travel agent, mainly as the property offered free parking. We left after 2 (and stayed 2 nights in Rome Central) due to the following:-1) The hotel is located too far from the city and Vatican, and public transport stops early at night resulting in expensive taxi rides. 2) The 'hot' water in our shower was lukewarm at best 3) To use the power points under the bedside tables you had to lie on your stomach to plug in your devices. All in all, an unpleasant experience

I visited this hotel from Oct. 3-7 2017. Considering the fact that this hotel is advertised as a 4 star hotel, it leaves much to be desired. The grey floor, black and lime green curtains in the room were not very inviting. The tiles in the shower had numerous black spots on them (probably mold), and the shower door did not close properly so that a towel had to constantly be in front of shower door to avoid the water from leaking on the floor outside the shower. The breakfast was the same every day, and the lunch and dinner prices were pretty high. Since the hotel is located on top of a hill, the walk to and from the train can be a little exhausting for the older people. I would definetly not recommend this hotel to any of my friends and stay somewhere else in the future.

Clean and modern hotel. Location: Far from public transportation and too far to walk to the city center. The neighborhood was elegant but we wanted to spend our time in the city center the location was not practical. We had to take a taxi to go the city center and back. Taking taxi fares into account, we should have stayed in a better located hotel. Rooms: Ground floor rooms are spacious but too dark, so we asked for a change in rooms and given a room on second floor. The room on the second floor was much smaller but no light problem.

Staff very friendly especially Gorgia Nascimento, Anca Maria and Christopher and Stephen. Rooms very clean, location okay Shuttle bus from the hotel to the city.Love the service the staff packed breakfast for us to take on our tour. Would highly recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

We stayed in the most expensive room with private rooftop patio, brilliant. The mini bar was cheaper than the hotel bar. No cosy bar area to enjoy a drink with other guests. No ice cubes at the bar so if needed it is a wait of 3 minutes to allow the barman to go to get 3 cubes. Courtesy bus if booked in advance with a crazy bad tempered driver who can't negotiate tight turns without hitting walls. Worth 17 euros for a taxi to the Pantheon. Enjoyed Rome but next time a different hotel.

This is a modern hotel situated at La Balduina , a residential neighbourhood in the northern part of Rome. There are other hotels in this area and this one is located in a nice and quiet corner. The nearest public transport is a little walk from the hotel. The hotel has a big car park, but I would recommend against using a car to move around in rome ! Breakfast is very nice, with people staffing a coffee-bar and preparing nice espressos and cappuccinos.

This hotel is so far away from every type of public transport. If you don't have a car don't go to this hotel. There is no informations on hotel's site that after 22h you can't even come to the hotel without paying taxi (20€). First when we came we waited for check in for 15 minutes. This metro station valle aurelia which is station where you go out if you want to come to hotel is really scary, especially at night. We stayed in city till 22h and we didn't even know that there is no public transport at night for out hotel's location. We had to take taxi and for that money we could take hotel somewhere else, near the public transport. My recommendation-don't take this hotel.

A trendy hotel, tucked well away from the city centre. The hotel offers a free shuttle service into the centre of the city but be aware it doesn't cater for many and gets booked up quickly. Rooms are spacious and well presented; we had a superior room and it was lovely. Dining in the hotel is expensive and the prices of drinks are also high. Breakfast had a good selection of self service. Even though it's a little bit out of the city it is a 5 minute walk from a good pizza takeaway, the bus into town, a newsagents and 10 minutes from the train.

We have stayed in Hotel Zone a number of times. On a recent trip with a one-night stay in Rome, we knew it was the most reliable option. Simple amenities and basic rooms but to be expected for a lower prices. It is a bit out of the way, so be prepared to either catch the 990 bus or pay for cab rides to and fro. Generally a very nice staff, including in the resaurant/bar/terrace area.

Am writing this review while i am staying in the hotel mainly because am so mad it’s unbelievable.... First of all they dont change the bed covers , its the same covers and i have been told that from the receptionist Secondly, i have never seen a hotel that runs out of card to unlock the rooms door. I forgot my card inside the room and went to the receptionist and he was like i have 1 card left, so unlock the rooms door and bring it back to me * Thirdly and this is the worst!, there is weird type of insects in the room.. i will attach a photo of one i saw in the shower And the air conditioning is terrible... it barely works and when it does work it makes a very annoying sound Finally, this is no where near a 4 stars hotel.. i really can go all day stating how bad my experience is with this hotel. Seriously the only decent thing is the gym everything other than the gym is so bad. Yea The breakfast is terrible. Khaled shiltawi.
