This hotel is in a perfect location for seeing the sights of Rome. Everything is in walking distance and and close to some really nice bars and restaurants. We booked a standard double room which was actually a triple and was huge. Charming old decor with all the mod cons you need. The bathroom was nice with a great shower. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of everything you could want and great coffee. Its on a busy and noisy road which you could hear but you are in central Rome. Friendly, english speaking staff. I would stay here again and would recommend.
We stayed here after getting an offer online. While the hotel is basic the location cannot be beaten and the staff were very friendly. It was one of the few hotels we found offering a family room, so great value. We would certainly stay here again.
My wife and I stayed three nights here and were thrilled with the location and value. Walking distance to innumerable sights, attractions, dining, and shopping. We’ll stay here again the next time we visit Rome. The staff is very friendly and speak perfect English. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. Some noise, but surprisingly quiet given the busy street.
Our family of four spent 6 nights at the Hotel Tiziano--two adults and two small children. The Room: We stayed in a quad room which was very spacious with two twin beds and a king sized bed. We never felt like we were on top of each other. Having a fridge was convenient, as was the ample closet space. As others have written, the shower was small--if anyone in your party weighs 250lbs+, they might find the shower uncomfortable. That said, the water pressure was good and the towels were soft. The sheets and inner comforters were clean. But, like many hotels, the outer covers could use a wash. Not icky, but not washed enough. The Breakfast: Breakfast is very convenient and plentiful. Eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, fresh bread, ham/turkey/cheese, several varieties of yogurt and super-food toppings, croissants and danish. Three different juices and water. Tea, coffee, and espresso drinks by request. The Hotel: The building is historic--you can read about it. So some edges are time-worn and that's part of the charm...but you have to like that. The location can't be beat--you can walk everywhere...from the Vatican to the Borghese Gardens to Trastevere. With two small children, being centrally located was key. It is on a very busy street and you would hear ambulances/police vehicles but not any more than if you were in a hotel on Broadway in NYC. It depends where your room is too. The staff was very friendly too...especially the women who work the breakfast room and make cappuccinos! The lobby boasts several newspapers that can be read there and that was nice. Hotel guests seemed to come from everywhere: Asia, other countries in Europe, the US...that always makes for a nice experience when traveling. Overall, the hotel is an excellent value and I would stay there again.
Totally excellent location and good English speaking staffs! Nice breakfast in Italy I would say above average. Even it’s sorta old decorated but can’t beat its perfect located. The price is also affordable.
Moved to this hotel after 4 nights at another near Piazza Barberini where we were disappointed with its location, the noise from the street, smelly bathroom and need for updating. The Tiziano solved all of these problems. Location was perfect for exploring downtown Rome, the bathroom was immaculate and there was almost no noise (despite being on a busy street). Staff were tremendously friendly and helpful. Will certainly stay there next time we’re in Rome this spring.
I have stayed there in a triple room with my friends. the bed cover was dirty and hair hanging from the curtains. Staff from reception not very helpful bearly spoke english. It is quite expensive concerning the room rate.
The hotel is in an excellent location, just south of the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. Central enough that we walked everywhere over our 4 day trip. The hotel rooms were comfortable with extremely high ceilings. Being on a main road, our room directly overlooked the road. While the noise is fairly constant, it was tolerable and not enough to request a room change. Breakfast was OK with a wide selection and the staff were extremely helpful and polite. The bad point I had was that whilst they have free Wifi the performance is extremely poor. Not a deal breaker, but regretted not downloading the offline map of the area in google maps in advance.
We stayed at the Tiziano for 4 nights. The location of this hotel is great. There is a bus stop just outside which has good connectivity from Termini. It is also just a few minutes walk to Piazza Navona as well as Venezia making most of the attractions a 10-15 minute walk at max. The lobby of the hotel is grand and impressive and was the only part of the hotel that seemed worth calling it 4-star. Other than that everything else was 3 star at best. The rooms were clean and well equipped. The breakfast was very good both in terms of the spread as well as the taste. Overall, a good hotel but giving it just 3/5 rating from a value standpoint since it does not justify the price tag (or the higher city tax) of a 4-star hotel.
Enjoyed a 3 night stay. Fantastic staff, clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast was ok. All main tourist sites within walking distance. November seemed to be a good time to visit Rome, still very busy but everywhere is well managed.
