We stayed five nights here. Big room with lots of light. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds but unfortunately bedcover was very annoying which had no zip or buttons. Also bed sheets were same for five days. We didn't tried breakfast because there are plenty of cafe nearby. Location is good but slightly away from center. We didn't like 2 euros fee for keeping baggage on the day of departure.
A perfect hotel with clean and comfortable rooms, perfect breakfast, pilot and kind staffs, the manager is very kind and responsible. You can reach to public transportation facilities very easily and there is a local, fanatic and useable galleria in the west of hotel in which you can find anything that you may need.
2 kms from the rome central. kitchennette was not fully functional. no room service. spacious room. noise from the main road and bar outside. buffet breakfast had very limited options, so we had it for 1 day only. staff was helpful. everyone can't speak english.
Very tidy hotel with air conditioned rooms which were tidied up every day. Breakfast with average with your croissants or cereal but couldn't really complain the staff try to help out as much as they possibly can and are very friendly. Reception is manned 24 hours. Only thing that lets it down is the noise from the bar opposite which is open until 5am but to be honest we slept with the shutters and doors open all night and still got a good kip regardless ! Such a good location a short 20 minute walk to the coliseum and 20 minutes down the river to the Trevi fountain really good location and a nice hotel for what you pay!
hotel very nice. I had problems only to reach the RE TESTA hotel because of lack of indications. but the room was good, bath too, no noise, good wifi, air conditioned. Normal breakfast nothing special but ok. Staff ok and polite. so, location too. Parking is to be paid and it's around 20,00€ per night.
We booked this hotel for 2 nights after searching many hotels. We booked a triple room but was given a double. They changed us to another room which was a quadruple room with a view of ugly air con units. We asked if we could go back to the other room so they put an extra bed in the room. What a big mistake this was. The digital safe and microwave didn't work and in the end had to be given the safe key so we could store passports etc. What they didn't mention was that there was a bar/club directly opposite that had loud music and people, that stayed open until 5am. At 2am after no sleep we were trying to move but no rooms were available. The next day we were moved to a room at the back with the ugly view but at least it was quiet at night so did actually get some sleep. Again in this room we could not use the safe as the key had broken off inside but the microwave did work so we could make a drink.. On the plus side the location was quite good. The rooms were clean, modern and a good size. Trastevere station to go to the airport was easy to get to and only 10 minute walk. Pyramide metro station approx 10 minute walk. Colosseum approx 20 minute walk. I think the hotel should make people aware of the club opposite that stays open until 5am as this is every night and not just weekends
About 20 minute walk from the colosseum a good but basic hotel. It was clean, staff friendly and in a quiet location. Some great local restaurants made this our perfect economy stay over. Breakfast is changing to be provided by one of the local cafes. There is a local market next door full of local produce.
Not too bad for the cost of the hotel. It's about 30 mins walk from the centre and is served well by the bus network and the marketplace nearby is very interesting. I'd recommend the 10 minute walk to pizzeria da remo for a nice night out. The rooms improve dramatically when the natural light pours through the patio/roof terrace windows. With the shutters down, the rooms can look a bit dingey and dark, though the room served its purpose well. The hallways could do with a lick of paint too. The breakfast wasn't great and I wouldn't recommend this. I noticed an ant on the pastries. The bedding was also dirty one night, perhaps it was our dirt and the bed was only made and not changed. The staff were very pleasant however and I cannot fault them.
I stayed at this hotel weekend just gone with my other half. The hotel I believe is a 3 star hotel however it was nice enough. The room was comfortable and had everything that we required however we literally only used the room to sleep and get ready. I didnt see a bar or a restaurant area however they had a terrace area where guests could have their continental breakfast. Our room had a balcony facing the main road which was great to see what was going on. It is extremely loud througout the night you can hear people who are on a night out and all the traffic passing by which didnt bother us but may not be appealing to others. The location was a good one we were able to walk to the Colleseum in about 25-30mins which was a lovely walk. Clubs, bars and restaurants are all within a few mins walk. If in Rome again I would stay at this hotel again.
Couldn't really fault this hotel. Rooms - spacious, balcony, large bed, nice bathroom, modern Hotel - central location, could walk to the colosseum and main sites in about 30mins, however, the metro station is a 5 min walk away and is just a couple of stops away from the main sitse. Really cheap to travel about too on the metro. Great hotel, especially for the price we paid. Breakfast - good breakfast, however, we preferred it when they did it on the hotel terrace as opposed to the cafe just outside. Restaurants - there are a few good restaurants close to the hotel, a little pizza place and a few other restaurants a short walk away. There is much more choice in the city centre (however this is obviously more expensive). On our last day we found it hard to find a place to eat, as they seem to close for most of the afternoon (after the lunch rush), and don't open again until the evening. Sites - we spent one day at the Roman forum, colosseum, trevi fountain, pantheon etc. One day at the Vatican, st Angelo castle (not advertised enough but worth a visit) and another exploring smaller sites e.g Jewish ghetto, Tiber island, the big park etc. Overall great hotel, great location and great city!!
