Excellent excellent excellent !!!! We had the best time at this hotel. Staff is nice and can help quickly with taxi and airport transport. Breakfast is quality and has variety. Staff is accommodating to children. Room was very clean and staff cleaning was great everyday. I would return again to this hotel. There are so many good dining options around and there’s so much shopping too. The train station is a walk away. So cute and I give it 5 stars.

beautiful but dated building close to many hidden gems in rome: basilica papale santa maria maggiore, basilica of mary queen on angels (carved out of the ancient historic dolometian baths), gallerie barberini, moses fountain, quattro fontane, and the historic chiesas with bernini sculptures, and St. John Lateran. Next door is the stunning St. Paul within the walls. There are loads of places to eat Roma!

There is no free room upgrade as my Expedia account says. I paid extra $500 for suite when I needed to upgrade double room to triple room. The first thing front desk do is not to greet with you after your long hours on the road, but only try to squeeze more and more money out of you first. I wanted to give one star but the room is at least clean so I give 2.

This hotel was amazing! The location is incredible- just 2 min. walk to the metro station and the street has lots of restaurants and shopping of every kind- from high end stores like Max Mara to kitchy souvenir stores. It has so much history and character! The front desk was very helpful, always ready to give good advice. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in Rome!

Room was little dated but spotless and clean. But room 212 is windowless (has a wooden door to outside). Room walls are thin we could hear noises from next room and also laundry spinning noise or something. Every thing has a key including Bathroom door and fridge :-). Apparently hotwater tap is marked with Letter C. Breakfast is ok and staff was really polite and helpful. Kudos for keeping 150 year old hotel clean. Please fix/replace the elevators, they may hurt someone.

Really good hotel, ita airways lost our bads and the reception staff couldn't have been more helpful especially Emanuele who was just brilliant on more than one occasion. Looking forward to returning. This is going to be our go to hotel in Rome in the future. Nothing negative to say about it.

Hotel overall was OK, however there were some inconveniences. Despite the temperature outside, inside the room was too hot and you could not regulate it, we even had to open the windows. The other issue was there was some kind of repair close to our room, they were using hammers, saws and all kinds of tools and equipment as early as 7 am. Impossible to sleep.
