You get what you pay for.

I went for a couples trip. My girlfriend and I shared a room. Pros: Cheap price. Decent location. A/C Cons: WiFi. When it was working it was slower then AOL dialup. Loud street in front and windows didn't do much for noice. Rude cleaning staff and didn't clean that well.

Good location and great staff.

Overall the accommodation was good and the location is very good with walking and local transport available. A few places to eat near by and a supermarket at the end of the street. Had to pick up the key from around the corner but that worked out okay. Breakfast was great.

Good location for Terminus and the Colosseum

Quiet, clean, friendly staff, nice breakfast. You check in at Caravaggio hotels round the corner which is slightly confusing. And there's a great lift!

Budget hotel,walking distance to many attractions.

Hotel Picasso was all I thought it would be. It was a good location, was well priced and clean. We enjoyed the simple breakfast. It was a small room with a small bathroom, it was cleaned daily. The free Wi-Fi worked well.

Perfect hotel! Perfect price, location, staff, and room. Within walking distance of everything, and they provide information for checking in since the lobby has a different address from the rooms. They also gave a free glass of wine!

Good location but be aware there could be stairs

Picasso Hotel is in a separate building to the main hotel. My room was a good size, very simple but clean. It was on the 4th floor of the building, I was not told previously and so because of my mobility problem it proved to be very difficult to get to my room during the time the lift was not working. The hotel should inform people that there could be four flights of stairs to their room. The breakfast room was very small and not suitable for the number of guests in the hotel.

Great location

Stayed in this hotel in July. The front desk in other one but close by, you would have to check in there before moving your luggage to your room, leave your key before exploring the city and ask questions. Happy hour every day with wine and fruits. Make sure you have 10 cents ready to make an elevator go up. The room is good enough for traveler but overnight noise from the outside makes the stay a bit unpleasant. Shower size not big enough for a kid. Food in the restaurants in the area is average, not getting the feel that you are in Italy. Al Viminale, just around the corner, we had ravioli so good, I did not know that taste existed, mozzarella amazing, everything we ate there just unbelievable.

Great central location, near major sites

The hotel is situated in a fantastic location, it feels very safe and secure, the room was small and compact but entirely functional. The hotel staff were kind and did there best to solve any issues we had. The only complaint I have is that the breakfast is terrible, bread stale, milk off. Unfortunately the hotel could not refund me for breakfast due to having pre-paid. I would stay at this hotel again, but next time I would not pay for the breakfast.

It smelt absolutely terrible, the hotel was ok otherwise but the front desk is in a different hotel and was a little confusing/hard to find. The stuffin the fridge seems free because there is no pricing anywhere, but it is not.

Quirky but noisy

We were met by a very helpful and incredibly serviced focussed concierge in the evening. He had incredible local knowledge and was also very friendly. We liked the idea of the happy hour for guests. We only had one night but it was a very noisy location. The lift that needed coins was quite quirky and the fact that the reception was around the corner was a bit inconvenient with heavy bags. It was clean and neat and ok for what we needed.

Comfy bed, ideal location, but there are issues!

The hotel rooms are not at the same location as the concierge! On our our arrival the Concierge gave lots of info about restaurants/city etc whilst he was trying to be helpful it was all a bit much. He reccommended a bus tour of the city through "Green Line Tours" Really wish we hadnt done this but this is not the forum to write why. You will need a 10cent for every time you use the lift. We were in room 410. (4th floor): Our room was small with a juliet balcony. Outside was noisy so couldnt leave the doors open (its a city!) The walls were very thin, we could hear other peoples conversations/tv/lovemaking (!?) 2 small beds had been pushed together to make our double. But it was very comfortable! The bathroom was clean but very very small. I struggled to even dry myself in it. The water had to be put on for ages before luke warm water even glanced its way to the shower/sink. Then a mad rush to soap before it went cold. i couldnt wash my hair properly for the week. I made the mistake of putting the plug in the sink. Unbeknown to us it was broken. Leaving the sink full (unable to wash/clean teeth/fill water bottle) Apparently it couldnt be fixed till the following day. Found out during the night that the toilet paper hadnt been refilled by the cleaner:- get dressed again. 4 floors downstairs 5min run to concierge then back to hotel, 10 cent lift and then i can pee. Plus side: great location/comfy bed. What more do you need.

We followed the recommendation of an expedia reviewer and asked for room 106 and they had it ready for us on arrival. We would have liked WiFi in our room but that was the only complaint.
