We chose this hotel because they had parking for our vehicle which is very hard to find in Rome. Train station 300 meters away for a trip into Rome, (only problem is you need to change trains) about 20 min train ride into centre of town. Hotel it's self was modest but very clean with breakfast downstairs. Parking is in street but neighbourhood is very safe.
this hotel was in a nice area. My parents had a room for 2. We had a suite with 2 rooms. 1 room had a queen bed and the other 2 singles. Complimentary breakfast. Also a nice outdoor, gated patio. We sat outside drinking wine and snacks on this very large area. We liked that it was only 1/2 mile to the train station and Café. More of a quite setting in a quite neighborhood, which was nice after spending a busy day in Rome! Still in Rome, but again...quite area. Grocery store with affordable items to stock the Fridge! Clean and affordable and peaceful.
We stayed in this hotel when we booked a 3-day tour to Rome. We were given a room in a basement with only a small window. Generally I am not a very demanding guest so I didnt mind. The room was clean but beds werent very comfortable. The choice of breakfast was ok. There is a free wifi available at the hotel and a nice terrace outside where we sat and drank wine which was very pleasurable :) The connection to centre of Rome during day is good. The hotel is about a 10 minutes walk from the station. I have stayed in better hotels, but this trip was quite cheap. I could say it was a good value for money. I would recommend it for a cheap holiday.
So, we travel by car 2200km and by the time we arrived the room was ready. HOTEL - the location is 5 min from a train station and it was as the booking page described, we asked for a double bed and we had a twin (one next to the other), it was ok, the room is large enough to accommodate 2 persons, but the bathroom is smaller then usual (my opinion) and the shower is fixed to the wall. every day the maid clean the room and take the garbage, the reception guys were very kind and very helpful with directions and different things. WIFI is on every level and is free, the parking is on the street and 2 cars can be parked in garage, the breakfast is simple 1 type of cheese and 1 type of ham, no eggs (just the last 2 days was some scrambled eggs) and some good croissants. MOVING AROUND ROME - because we travel by car we were not interested in public transport but as I saw was easy to use the train and metro (2 lines A and B), so we drove. Parking in Roma is easy, you have to circle a bit the point of interest you wanna visit and the street parking is marked : WHITE LINES - free (very hard to find) BLUE LINE - is with cash 1-1,2 euro/h (depend of area) and 4 euro/8h (which I use) deci nu parcati ca-n Romania ca se dau amenzi si se si ridica. YELLOW LINES - is for person with disabilities, diplomats, different governmental and other with special permit. The gas is about 1.7-1.8 euro/liter, vigneta Slovenia 15 eur-7days / ungaria 15 eur - 10 days. the family restaurants you can find them in back streets next to touristic attractions.
The trip to get to the hotel was a challenge from the airport but it grew on me the longer I stayed. The breakfast was fair. The cable had no English channels. The A/C was awful. 18C was warm! The cleaning staff did a great job. The staff were helpful. The train station is very close but it takes time to get into foam - beware. The beds were comfortable. Wi-Fi was spotty.the shower is VERY small!
I stayed in this hotel for three days, my stay was very average. The only plus point of this hotel was that it was very close to the train station so there is a connectivity to any part of the town. I don't know about late nights as i was back in the hotel by 8 latest. The room was clean and nice though a little tiny, however the walls are very thin and you could almost hear all the conversation that was happening in next room. The bathroom appliances were old, there was a problem with hot water some days it was ok some days not so. The entry into the hotel is weird u need to press a lever, which was difficult to understand The breakfast was good and sufficient, The staff was very friendly and helpful provided me with the map of places to go and even spent some time shortlisting what to do and where to go, though language was a big issue, they absolutely do not understand proper English, i had to struggle to get food and other details... but that was all across Rome so not complaining there. Among other things there is a city tax to be paid which was not mentioned in the voucher, and there is no dinner service on Sunday which was not mentioned at all. All in all i feel a tad cheated for the 53$ that i paid per day
Very friendly hotel owner, who loves to be able to tell you all about the sites in Rome (we like rome too). We caught the train direct to station near Vatican, very easy to get around. Room was nice and we enjoyed having our own balcony. Breakfast was good. Very important to us was having secure parking in the underground garage for our motorcycle and this was no issue for owner. Laundrette nearby and supermarket. The only down side is that suburban Rome is quite ugly and trains and station are badly graffitied. Otherwise this hotel is a great Rome base.
Some of the friendliest people I ever met. Slightly older hotel but very comfortable. Most attentive staff. Hotel itself is located along the FR3 line where Rome pass could still be used. Although slightly outside the city centre, easily reached. Safe neighbourhood. Very close to the train station and the day/night bus-stops.
This hotel was close to the train station which made it easy to get into Rome. The owner was so helpful and the room was clean and spacious with a balcony. The breakfast, which was included, was quite nice. No complaints at all.
The hotel is nice, quiet and clean, the stuff friendly but their english is not the best. It's very close to the Octavia train station. The connections to the center of the city are ok in the morning, as the trains come every 15-20 minutes, but in the evening they only go every 40-50 minutes, and the last train starts a bit too early from downtown(around 10:30 PM) There are some night busses but the bus stop is not so close to the hotel. There are some trains that do not stop in Octavia, so make sure you ask someone before getting on, as the station displays might be missleading. The breakfast is typical italian one, with croissants and a lot of sweet things, no salty things like vegetables, cheese, eggs or ham.
