A matter of 30m from the Vatican Museum entrance it was a perfect spot for my trip including a Pontifical committee, a Templar Synod , crossing 4 Holy Doors, my plenary indulgence and finally an audience with the Holy Father and a visit to His private gardens.

I was disappointed with my room. It was tiny and the mattress was very thin and cheap. I also woke up with bug bites. Pretty sure they were bed bugs, so I had to find a laundromat and wash all of my clothes. The air conditioning was loud and the windows didn't have screens so I had to keep them closed to keep mosquitos out. Breakfast looked pretty sad. I didn't even try it. On the positive side, the women who checked me out were lovely and helpful. I liked the neighborhood. Even though it was close to the Vatican, the streets weren't too crowded and there wasn't a lot of street noise. Amazing food market right down the street I went to every morning.
