Review is pretty much the same as others posted. Good place to crash on a budget but stayed during the heat wave this summer and air conditioner does nothing whatsoever. Beds are cheap and very narrow but I’ve seen much worse. Nearby roads are noisy. It’s a fair walk to transportation and half of it is past dumpsters with garbage all over, horrendously smelly during the summer. Not an area to walk in at night, no amenities nearby. Breakfast was not free. Friendly staff and wonderful cold cheap water and beer in the vending machine though.

Close to metro , the street is a little busy and first impression is bad but no problem at all two blocks from metro and 3 from great restaurant El Patio ( Best food I ate in Italy and good price.).

Room & Hotel was nothing like we saw in pictures. Place was filthy. Mold in the bathroom. Neighborhood was sketchy & dirty. Room was much smaller than expected. An hour away from the main airport. Not nothing near what was advertised. The place was so bad, we shortly after checking in and found a much better hotel. Would never recommend this place.

Minimalistic hotel however rooms are fairly big. Staff very helpful for tourists and friendly, 5 minute walk from metro train station torra maurra. Housekeepers kept room very tidy. Mattress wasn’t the best and small details like wallpaper peeling but it didn’t ruin it for us. Good bang for your buck though.

Our stay was excellent. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, bathroom small but efficient, bright, clean, 6 clean towels every day. The staff was pleasan, efficient and most helpful, called the airport several times for my delayed luggage, scanned and printed items we needed for travel and banking. The only negative was the location, which involved dirty streets and a lot of traffic in the short walk from the metro. However, the price was good, and there is an excellent express fish restaurant nearby, a friendly bar for an afternoon wine, and a nice snack bar for breakfast.

Cheap thrill

Too far away from anything! The lady recpeptionist was sweet but the guy seemed often annoyed as well as not too helpful. Oh yeah. You will be to walk a ways in order to get to the hotel. Not worth it. Stay local.

2 woman traveling in Europe

The price is great yet you understand why when you arrive. It's in the middle of a not safe area. We didn't have a car so had to use public transportation and with the strike going on. It took over a hour and half to get into Rome. Not ideal for two young woman traveling alone. The staff was wonderful. The room A/C barely works making sleeping uncomfortable. Had reservations to stay 3 nights yet 2nd day stayed at an air bnb actually in Rome, which was beautiful.

The hotel staff, in particular the receptionist were absolutely poor. Not friendly at all. The air conditioning in our room did not work properly and their kitchen is very average. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Bed for the night

We booked this hotel just on the outskirts of Rome for our three day visit into the city. When we arrived hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. When we entered our room we were shocked to find it was nothing like the photos. We booked a standard room which didn't have a safe like stated on the site. The room was clean on the surface as daily housekeeping changed towels, bedding and soap. However the room felt grotty and dirty. The shower was damp and mouldy. My first thoughts were that we would only be in here to sleep. It was a walk down a rough dirty road to the tube but not far, it was however another walk (1km) to another tube station to get into the city and see the sights. Making our journey into Rome from the hotel 45 mins- 1hr. The only two things making this hotel a two rating is the friendly staff and the amazing pizza place down the road. If you are planning a trip to Rome look at the tube stops first. The tube near this hotel is currently being extended and will help with the journey.
