Just arrived back from 10 year wedding anniversary trip to Rome and Amalfi. JK Roma was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The decor, service and restaurant are just amazing. The food is so good at the restaurant we came back to hotel after spending the days sight seeing. In addition, the breakfast that is included is fit for a king! What really made this place special though is the staff that works there. After a few hours we felt like part of the J.K. family. If you ever go ask for Beatrice at the front desk. She is a ROCKSTAR and went above and beyond in helping us guide our way through the city, recommendations and overall cheery attitude. Well done J.K.! Anstett family
We spent the last 2 nights of a 2+ week trip to Europe at the JK Place Roma. Staff are very well trained to handle guests' needs and each greeted us personally by name during our comings and goings throughout the days. We enjoyed the continental breakfast daily and aperitivo and snacks in the bar each evening. Dining recommendations were among the best we had during our trip. We laughed the first time we saw the sofas in the elevators, but they were a godsend that we used after a LOT of walking around Rome. The guest rooms are beautifully decorated, we loved the lightly fragranced bath soaps/shampoos/etc and thank you to the person who decided exfoliating body wash, in addition to regular body wash, was a necessity to have! And they have the BEST house slippers! Our Superior Double room was a bit tight for our 2 big suitcases, but the welcome champagne and chocolates, big four poster bed, plus different little treats by the bed at turndown more than made up for it. We also wondered if they consider each guests' demographic when selecting the music channel to leave playing for us at turndown. We truly enjoyed returning to the room to find 90's EDM music playing and had fun Shazam-ing each song to create a playlist to remember our Rome holiday :) Lastly, the location of the hotel is just 1 street from the best shopping streets in Rome, but having that 1 street buffer means it is SO quiet! (I have stayed on the shopping street in the past and the noise is non-stop all day and all night!) I'll be back at JK Place Roma soon!
We loved this hotel! It is renovated, with excellent service. The accomodations feel cramped though, but you cannot beat the great location which is walking distance from everywhere. For instance, the front door is a back alley and it can be crowded entering and exiting, or unloading luggage. But, it is a top hotel with nice amenities and service. I highly recommend it!
Wonderful experience at the JK hotel. Located right at the center of Rome , walking distance from the Spanish steps . Rooms & lobby are beautifully designed & breakfast is simply delicious . But above all is an impeccable ,friendly & warm service mastered by Sabrina & Benedetta We shell definitely return to the JK soon!
This hotel was as close to perfection as you can get. The lobby was simply breathtaking and I adored the couch in the elevator. We were greeted by Leonardo and he was a valuable wealth of information. He knew all of the great locations that we needed to visit and he even remembered that I didn’t eat meat when he offered us a complimentary drink and snack. His attention to detail was impeccable. Norris the bartender makes an amazing Aperol spritz, so be sure to not miss out on that. The entire staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience at their hotel. I will definitely be staying at the J.K. place hotel the next time I’m in Rome.
TERRIBLE: My experience with J.K Place Rome was absolutely terrible. I was scheduled to go July 7th-July 12th, 2019. 6 days prior to leaving I fell very ill with a sinus infection. My doctor provided a document in which he stated I shouldn’t be traveling for 14 days. I submitted the document to the hotel immediately. I told them I would be rebooking by the end of the year, that it was just a change of dates. I didn't take out travel insurance as: 1) Quite frankly in all my years of travel nothing had ever happened to me so it didn’t occur to me get insurance. 2) I wasn't warned of the medieval cancelation policy of the hotel. The bottom line is they were going to charge me the full 4300 Euros even with 6 days notice for medical reasons with doctor’s certificate. And this they did. They took the 4300 Euros. As you can imagine I was shocked. After much to and fro while I was sick, the general manager agreed to extend a 30% credit towards a future stay. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago: I contacted the general manager to share my new October dates and asking him to honor the original price/package. Well, not only did he not answer me personally (but some random person from booking) but they increased the price 66 euros as to absorb the credit! JK Place Rome is not a customer oriented/sophisticated establishment as it portrays itself to be but inflexible/out for the money at any and all costs. Again, as stated above, the cancelation policy is from another time to say the least. With so many hotels in Rome don’t settle for the worse.
having been in the south for 3 weeks and needing to depart from FCO only 1 hotel fits the bill in Rome. the JK! the service is unbelievable, the hospitality again fantastic. the restaurant folks and barmen really great definitely the place to stay in ROMA..
This is a wonderful hotel. Unfortunately I only got to stay here for one night on my way out of Rome, but I wish my stay had been longer. Our room was pristine, so comfortable and had an amazing bathroom (with a luxe shower!). The service was wonderful - such attentive staff, and they helped us to secure some restaurant reservations too. Beyond that, the hotel's location is super central - tons of shopping and attractions nearby. Hope to stay there again on my next trip to Rome!
What can you say?? This is probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. My favorit hotels are normally Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons and Mandarin Oriental. J.k Place Rome, you are going for Gold! Thank you so much! I'll BE BACK! To bad you are fully booked when we return to Rome!
Came to the JK Place with my friend's recommendation and was very impressed. You will feel that you are in a part of museum when you step in the lobby lounge area. You will feel you are in an upper class society when you are inside. Staff are very friendly and they upgraded my room. I love their idea of the secret elevator with sofa that you can sit inside. Room: Very spacious, clean. Only thing is I wish I get more view from the room. Location: Best location in Rome and steps from main busy street Service : Top notch Food: Breakfast was great. Highly recommended if you go to Rome
