Comfortable B&B

There was no balcony and the gentleman that cleaned our room was very thorough. Keep in mind this is a small B&B very quaint. You can see the Colloseum from the corner. Across the street is one of the best one of the best restaurants around. Antonio put such a personal spin on everything we needed

Antonio, our host, was wonderful- easy to communicate with and very kind. He helped us in trying to sort out a tour with the Collosseum and was very considerate in letting us leave our luggage at the B&B for a couple ours past the check out time when our tour went late our last morning. The kitchen/ common area was lovely- well-stocked with both breakfast pastries and jam etc, in addition to a kettle/ coffee machine and all the supplemental plates and mugs. The only note is that the room is rather small so not for big families or people with lots of luggage. The area around the property had a lot of touristy restaurants etc, so would recommend venturing further downtown to find more authentic cafes and seeing the piazzas etc. But just around the corner from the Collosseum with an amazing balcony!!

We stayed for 2 nights prior to departing for a cruise. Loved the location and that you can see the top of the Colosseum from the balcony. Quiet street. Easily walking distance to food, gelato, bars, etc. Private bathroom. 2 entrances onto balcony. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely centrally located B&B 2 minutes walk from the colosseum although it can be seen from the balcony - amazing view of it at night. The rooms are clean with fresh towels everyday. The owners leave you to it and were only there on check in. There is a pizza place opposite which is good for a snack before or after a long day and a 24 hour shop at the end of the next road down.

Clean hotel with a comfortable room and a nice balcony. Staff and the owner were very friendly. Location is excellent, close to the colleseum, but on a quiet enough street and there are some good restaurants nearby that are reasonably priced. If I am to go back to Rome I will stay there again.

After reading other customer reviews we were careful to look at the buzzers for the hotel name and in the end didn't have a problem finding it. We were greeted by Antonio and shown to our rooms. We had two rooms, one for me and my daughter, and my parents stayed in another. Although we paid the same price my parents room had a balcony with a view of the Vatican and Colosseum whereas ours had a window that looked out onto the yard between buildings. Unfortunately on the wall outside our room was some kind of water tank/boiler which made a horrendous noise when taps/showers were turned on and sometimes when there was no water running at all. One night this kept me awake past midnight and then started up again early the next morning. Very frustrating. Didn't see much of any staff and the breakfast table wasn't restocked during our 4 night stay. We had a hard mattress on our bed and it creaked loudly every time we rolled over. My parents, however, had a much more comfortable, less noisy mattress. Overall the b&b was ok. I was disappointed given the reviews I had read but then I think if we had been in one of the other rooms perhaps we would have had better comments to leave. I would recommend to a friend but not for more than a night or 2 and fingers crossed you get one of the better rooms!

B& B location was excellent, unfortunately the establishment do not live up to the reviews . It was VERY basic not enough breakout out for breakfast with a!omitted choice. Did not see Antonio antithetical prevention hand the keys back very poor service.

Lost in Rome B&B was wonderful. Smack bang in the middle of Rome and literally around the corner from the colosseum. In a lovely neighbourhood with plenty of restaurants. Our room was spotless and we had a stunning view from our top floor balcony (we could see the dome of St Peter Basilica). We’d definitely book with Antonio again if we ever returned (which we may do).
