We have traveled to Rome many times but this hotel is definitely one we will stay at next time. A great location in Rome a nice walk to Castle San Angelo and the Vatican. A nice breakfast is served each morning. Clean and a block from the Subway. .

Stayed in September 2017 and loved the location. This hotel is within walking distance to both the Vatican and Piazza del Popolo and is in a very busy area with several buses and Lepanto metro, but off on a side street so it is quiet. There were many restaurants around and lots of shopping on the walk to the Vatican. I would stay there again. Now for the bad points: I had to sweep up the bathroom floor upon check in since the housekeeper (there appeared to be only one) had already left for the day and had not done a good job. There was hair and dirt clearly visible on the floor when I checked in. I could not believe that a ''professional" would leave it in that condition. When I informed the front desk, the woman working said that housekeeping leaves at 2PM and I would have to wait until the next day for it to be cleaned. I asked for a broom to clean it myself and was given one! Once I cleaned up the dirt and hair, which I swept into the corner since I did not have a dust pan, I also noticed that it stayed in the corner over the length of our stay! Obviously this hotel needs better cleaning staff. Other than this, we loved the room, rooftop terrace area and the breakfast was decent. I also liked that they have a limited restaurant where you can order (if you do so before a certain time) or get drinks, and there were a few meeting rooms and a computer to print boarding passes. Tip: the hotel is also within walking distance of the Airport pickup bus for $6 (ask the front desk for directions). I would stay again and just hope for better cleaning people.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. We traveled as a family and it was the only hotel we could locate where 4 of us could sleep in one hotel room. We stayed for 4 nights and found all of the desk staff friendly and helpful, including locating a taxi in the middle of a taxi strike. We enjoyed the dinner recommendation. Only complaint is that taxis had a hard time finding the hotel and we had some harrowing experience with the taxi drivers arriving here. We will be back in 2019 and plan to stay here again. The breakfast provided lots of choices for the size of the space.

Great place, clean, good breakfast, has elevator, internet, good price and close to the Vatican. If planning to go out at night must peek a key to enter the building after midnight, since the lobby is closed until 7:00 am. Would recommend to family and friends.

Nice hotel close to Vatican City. Spent 2 nights here. We were unable to take advantage of the breakfasts, because we needed to leave early both days for tours. It is in a quiet neighborhood. The person at the front desk kindly exchanged our large euros for smaller ones. Was very grateful that I didn't have to go find a bank. Even though nothing happened to our luggage, there is no secure place to store your luggage. We had a scheduled tour from 8 to 1. We were required to have our belongings out of the room by 10. We were told to place them in the compurter room. No one came to the front desk when we rang the bell before we departed at a little after 7. They do provide internet. The main floor wifi is separate from the upper floors. You must request a password. I felt the main floor internet was better.

Hello, this hotel is close to Vatican, but it was hard for us to find it, but once it did, we realized it was close to Metro and conveniently located. Rooms were large and clean. Free Wi-Fi. And most importantly mattresses were comfortable! I have a bad back and I am a picky sleeper. Their breakfast buffet was awesome! They had a selection of drinks: cappuccino machine so we could make espresso, cappuccino or regular coffee, teas, juices. They had cold cuts and cheese, whole fruits like apples and oranges, pastries, hard boiled eggs (no scrambled eggs or sausage) Breakfast hours are 7:30 am to 9:30 am. Staff was polite and helpful. Definitely recommend this hotel and hopefully will be back!

Love the proximate location to so many landmarks by foot. Great staff, especially Stephano. Very patient with our endless questions about the area. We loved the "unique" candy favors on the bowl by the front desk ;-). Stephano: we'd love to know where those tiny candies (picture included) come from. We loved the Jasmine fragrance found all over the veranda...and around the city too. Large classic louvred windows offered a generous passage of cool evening breeze. Very spacious and clean accommodation. The key fob was heavy but unique enough for us to ignore its weight. The ambiance is truly classic and worth revisiting.

Location was good. Easy walking to Vatican. Metro very close. Restaurants and shops also very close. Nice hotel. Most of staff very good and very friendly. Had problem with air conditioning and were moved to another much larger room for rest of our stay. But found 2 of the receptionists quite rude. My friend was asked if other guests could use her lighter to light candles on a cake. She went to hand lighter over and receptionist snatched it out of her hand. Then other receptionist left us outside in rain as front door wouldn't open on last night!! Just in front of us 2 other guests had no trouble getting in 30 seconds before I tried. Could see staff in office and we had to get key for our room but she had disappeared. Only to return 5 minutes later to open door to us. On checking out she said there was a problem with our bill!! Only to find out it was for drinks we'd had and city tax (which we knew we had to pay). And then was ignored has we left. Real shame as found everything else very good. Would have liked to use the hotel again but as put me off now.

We stayed at the hotel in order to visit the sites of Rome and found it a very convenient location. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Our room was surprisingly large. The included breakfast featured a good quality cold buffet. The hotel was only 5 minutes walk from the metro, but we found it just as easy to get to the main tourist locations on foot most places were within 30 minutes walk.

Really average hotel, located in a quiet and dirty area. A lot of dirt in the streets around and at the metro station nearby. The room is just basic, not charming or hospitable but let's say good enough for 2-3 nights. I cannot appreciate the cleanliness of the room as many others did because of the problems with clogged bathtub which were not solved while we stayed there. Hotel receptionists speak English which is good but they are far away from being friendly, just informative but not at all warm or kind. Breakfast is a joke - in the country of vegetables and olives, fruits etc. they threw daily some low cost ham and cheese in the plate. Internet is not working good if there are few users connected. Advantages: near to the metro station Lepanto, elevator in the building, free Wi-Fi, quiet in the night What else? Overall I cannot recommend this hotel. I have seen much better at same 3 stars.
