The place was in a good location. However the good news more or less ends there. The apartment was not clean properly. When I alerted the host, she asked what I wanted. I couldn’t explain how disappointed I was in the state of disrepair the apartment was in. The window in the bathroom doesn’t shut completely. No does the large window in the living room. The host did not take initiative to have someone clean the apartment after I alerted her to what I found. It’s a very uncomfortable place to be after long hours of touring Rome. We were a party of 4 adults (family). There was one couch that was big enough for 2 adults. The dining room table chairs were flimsy and uncomfortable. The only option was to go upstairs to the bedroom. That’s not ideal for a group that’s wants to comfortably decompress after a superb day in Rome. There was no hand soap provided or complimentary bottles of water. There was nothing provided. Accessing the unit is via Vikey. The cellular signal strength was low, which made accessing the outside door nearly impossible. If you’re traveling alone, you’d likely be stuck outside without someone to push the door open and hold it for you while you walk from the street intersection to the entrance. The quality for the price point I paid was miserable. The two bedrooms upstairs are adjoining. Which is not bad. If you need a nightly trip to the bathroom, you’ll likely wake your family in the next room because the floor squeaks a lot. The bathroom…disgusting.
