This review is for the downstairs single unit. It is very clean and comfortable for a single traveler or a couple. Very quiet, and serene with a beautiful view of the lake. It is on a hillside, and Four Seas Road is gravel hill up to the property. It is not a good road for a heavy cruiser type motorcycle, it wouldn’t be an issue for an adventure type motorcycle or a trike. The hosts are awesome, and helpful. I enjoyed staying here and I would absolutely book this location again. Thank you!

Property was listed as 1 level. It has 3 steps up, 3 steps down,& 3 steps up to the door. The listing does not mention the steep driveway until after you book. It states if your car won’t go up the driveway park at the bottom & walk up. The bed was really high & I had to climb into it. The bed was also very uncomfortable. You can barely see the lake. It’s all trees & a telephone pole. Part of the road & driveway are not maintained by the state, but even though they are in good condition, part of the road has room for 1 car only. You would have to back up on the windy mountain or go off the side of the mountain. There’s a giant paper mâché elephant on the wall next to the bed to watch you sleep. Some people might find that creepy. This is not handicap accessible as I had requested to only see those kind of rentals. I let the host know I had to leave the next day due to it not being accessible & she said sorry to hear that. Nothing more. I can see why they offer no refunds no matter what.

Dirty, no communication, terrible location

We arrived after dark and there were no lights left on for us so trying to find the door was near impossible, but with a phone flashlight, we were finally able to trip our way up and down the stairs to get to the door. There are two sets of three stairs both up and down to even arrive at the front door where there’s no light on. The apartment was cozy, but dirty. I contacted the owner over a week before we arrived because we had scoped it out and there was no place to park our boat. She failed to get back with me on that at that point. It was too late to cancel without losing our money so we just left the boat at home and made our way for a weekend without the boat. The whole purpose of the trip was fishing trip. The location was terrible. Everything was grown up all around it. You could barely see the lake it everything there is very very steep was not accommodating. There was an animal upstairs running around. Which was odd because the owners said that they were out of town for the week or so actually out of the country. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Quiet get away

Cute little apartment near Beaver Lake

The apartment was comfy with nice touches like plants, string lights, and a cozy electric fireplace. It's in easy driving distance (7-15 min) to plenty of hiking trailheads. Thank you to our hosts!

Great weekend stay

Stayed for a long weekend with our boat to be on beaver lake all weekend and this was a great location just for this!! Would stay again.

Amazing!

We had such a great stay! We used the kayaks and enjoyed a lake nearby. The owners were so hospitable and communicative. The apartment is so cute.
