Ramada by Wyndham Roanoke

Franklin Rd, South Roanoke

Not clean, first room’s TV did not work, smoke hole burns in bed cover, no extra blankets. Old soap in tub left. Did not feel safe. No water since water pipe burst, but this one item was not Ramada’s fault. Need I say more.

Econo Lodge Civic Center

Very nice place to stay

very large, clean rooms with refrig. and microwave, a coffee maker in room and hair dryer. a large flat screen with all the cable channels. we had two large beds in the room and everything was clean and the beds were conferrable. carpets were clean with no stains or burn marks. we stayed in a down stairs smoking room and it did not smell bad from the smoke. The staff was super friendly and any thing we asked for they gave us. The place was very quiet and easy to sleep. the breakfast was ok for a free breakfast nothing special. it is kind of hard to get in and out of the place as its on a very busy street with heavy traffic but its one block from the highway. Oh and yes they are pet friendly !!

Holiday Inn Roanoke-Tanglewood-Rt 419&i581

Everyone is very nice!

The front desk staff is always very nice when I stay. I was a little disappointed at the condition of the bathroom. The toilet barely flushed and the bathtub had hair in it.

Holiday Inn Roanoke - Valley View

Faded glory of an aging hotel chain

This innocuous looking hotel described as having a valley view might have one but iI couldn't find it. Room we're old and faded, an older member of the chain perhaps. Bathroom flooded for no reason I or the night manager could discern, had to change rooms. Night manager was helpful and apologetic. Overall the facility was aged and depressing except for some upgrades in the lobby. Would not stay here again. IMO has been awarded too many stars.
