The staff was great, super friendly and helpful. The elevator smelled like mold and the carpets in general need to be removed. The whole place could use a refresh. The bed was not comfortable and it was super noisy.

Overall it was average. Needs some updating on rooms, hallways, bathrooms, etc definitely an older building that needs overall updating. The good thing is it has an area for big truck parking along the side street. No free breakfast which is a huge plus especially for a Marriot but didn’t offer it. Would I stay here again probably not, there are better newer cleaner options across the street or next door.

This Courtyard had very friendly staff and everyone was extremely polite. The room and facilities are in need major upgrade / renovations. There were several other hotel options within the same complex with much newer / nicer accommodations for a minimal difference in price. If I return to Rocky Mount again, I will stay at another property unless this location is renovated or the rate drops significantly.

Good property. Well maintained. Clean. I especially appreciate Ms Taylor from the front desk area, who is excellent! Her service is excellent. She made up for an unpleasant encounter my first evening. I liked the front desk staff I saw on Saturday, all day, and Sunday morning. They were superb as well.

A very dated hotel. Room was ok, however the shower was dirty and old. I’ve stayed at many Courtyards but I was very disappointed with this property.
