Spacious room with many conveniences; refrigerator, silverware, dishes, alarm clock, made for a perfect respite on a long journey. The friendly staff welcomed our dog with a few treats. We appreciated the tile floors in the room instead of carpeting. Great nights sleep for a very reasonable price.
We've been to this hotel more than once and we'll return. The friendly employees take pride in their work, and the hotel reflects their enthusiasm. Clean, fresh towels, hot water, working heating/cooling units. GREAT motel gym--functional machines, workout pads, loose weights, even a foam roller for my back. Wishing that we came through when the pool was open! Only negative--hideous morning coffee. But Dunkin Donuts is only a short hop away.
We stayed here for our Road trip --- 1/2 way between Florida & New York. Very comfortable, clean dog friendly hotel. There's an area in the back of hotel were you can take your dog for a nice walk. 2 min walking distance to Dinner. I would definitely stay here again.
Arriving well after midnight, we were received very nicely and professionally. (Not always so at that hour.) Room was spacious and appointed well enough, but it was of the linoleum type of flooring which seems to be becoming popular with properties these days. I find it like staying in a dorm or barracks. Not a cozy feeling after coming in from the road to walk on linoleum. Understandable in tropical climates, but not here. Was surprised there is no free breakfast as is so common now. There is a very sweet and tasty diner across the parking lot. But, I think many people count on the cost of breakfast being included in the room these days. I was happy enough to experience the hospitality of the diner, though. Fitness room looked well appointed, though I didn't use it myself.
Wonderful hotel and the room was perfect. Kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, sink, and table if needed....and.......the floor is great - no carpet! The beds are beyond comfy! They accept dogs at a very reasonable price. Close to food places and 95!! Check it out:)
Stayed at Candlewood suites for first time and was satisfied by offerings and service. As a IHG platinum member was treated well and welcomed. Staff honored my stay preferences. Only question was not use to a wood floor, but was clean and well kept.. Would stay there again
I was traveling for business and used my rewards points to stay the night here while I was driving North. I reserved a double queen with my rewards points. I arrived at night and was greeted very promptly by Gregg. He said my room was ready and that I have been upgraded to a suite since I was spire elite. He explained how the room key controlled the temperature of the room and asked if I was hungry because he had a list of eats in the area. I kindly let him know I already ate and he guided me to the elevator. The room was spacious and very clean. I was only spending the night because I had to get back on the road in the early morning but I wish I could of stayed longer. Christian checked me out on the morning and wished me a good day. I definitely will be staying here again when I pass through.
We needed to pick a hotel that accepted pets. They charge $25 to have our dog with us. The staff are very friendly. There is a diner next door which is good because there is no free continental breakfast offered. The room had a full fridge and stove which was nice. The room was a bit small and had tile instead of carpeting. I guess this is because it was a pet friendly room. The Wi-Fi did not work. The price was right and the room was clean so I would stay there again.
Stayed here for one night with my family on our way home from florida. Very easy to get to off route 95. Not a lot of restaurant options close by. Had to look up on my phone how to get to that area. Check in was slow but good. There was only one person on and there was a big rush of people checking in at the same time as us. She was very nice though. Great room. Large with two comfortable beds. Very clean. Outdoor pool area, but it was too cold to use. Would stay here again.
We've been stopping at this hotel as a halfway stop between CT and FL for our last 3 trips down. It's been adequate, not stellar but perfectly fine. We bring our 2 small dogs and stay in a pet friendly room. We are considerate of others and do not allow our dogs to soil the room. We bring a baby gate and they spend the night in beds in the bathroom with a pee pad. No problem at all. Our stay this past September 14 was disappointing to say the least. The room we were given, 124, was in terrible condition. Pet stains everywhere, especially in the closet which was unusable due to the odor. The carpet was stained and had pulls from previous dogs. There was evidence of dogs marking in the bathroom. We were almost ready to give up on this property but decided to give them one more shot on our return home. When we checked in I asked NOT to have room 124 and was assured that we would have one of their newest redone rooms which has been especially fitted for pets. Wow, what a difference. This room (324) had vinyl plank floors and a vinyl sided recliner which makes so much sense in a pet room. We didn't have to confine our dogs anymore and simply laid their pee pads (which they used) in the room and left them loose. Why don't all pet friendly hotels get rid of the carpet? It makes so much more sense for cleaning purposes. This hotel just gained a couple of loyal customers. We will return to FL this winter and look forward to staying. My only complaint was that the AC had a loud rattle. The housing looked like it had been damaged and the fan was hitting something. We did mention it to the front desk on leaving but it wasn't that big a deal.
