Must-Stay beautiful home

Beautiful home for a perfect family get-a-way. I enjoyed cooking in the fully stocked kitchen, but Pier 77 and Pops were good choices for dining alternatives. My family enjoyed night fishing on the private and community piers. This house is near the community pool for easy access. The boardwalk provides the perfect scenic morning walk. The Reserve provides an awesome outdoor environment filled with wildlife and nature.

Love it!

This is my third stay and I love having all the comforts of home along with stepping out of the back door to the beauty of the sea, seeing the occasional dolphins swim by and the deer grazing across the canal or just sitting in the patio swing reading a book. I love it!

Love this cottage

We loved this community and this adorable cottage! Great quiet location on the canal overlooking the water and nature preserve with families of deer to watch. We even saw a Dolphin in the canal. Comfortable furniture and beds and adequately stocked kitchen. Would stay here agin.

Absolutely Charming & A Must-Stay

We're a young family with 2 children (ages 3 & 6) we have stayed at quite few VRBO's and this is by far the most charming, comfortable, well-decorated rental we've stayed at! The community is so cute, the location is great and the home was so comfortable! 100% recommend this rental!

Totally different experience than the first time

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It is a nice home, nicely decorated, nice community pool, love the area. Second time staying at the reserve; first time stayed at a more expensive property with a SIGNIFICANTLY higher level of service-starting with the home access code. With the other property, it was sent to me in the home access instructions. This time, I had to call/text Turnkey. First time, I was given the wrong code. Before renting, I encourage you to keep in mind that this property offers a "starter supply" of things like towels and dishwashing/laundry detergent, etc. We spent the entire weekend (starting on day #1) washing towels because Turnkey refused to bring us more. In our previous stay, they quickly (and happily) brought us additional towels. They literally only provided salt and pepper, nothing else. No oil, no seasonings, and gave us only one dishwashing packet. Previous property had beach towels, hats, and toys! Not sure who cleans this property, but it was not very clean. We found candy under the nightstand and other stuff (candy and can of sunscreen) under the trundle bed-which barely fit in the space provided and was extremely difficult to pull out. Because the mattress is so big, we had to lift the twin bed to pull it out. Bed in the middle bedroom was lopsided. The cable situation heavily depends on your own subscriptions, so don't assume you'll be able to watch the local news or your favorite TV shows. It is complicated and annoying. They did not provide any instructions for the master bedroom TV, so you are left to just figure it out. Figured out that you need a 4K HDMI cord to be able to use your own device.

We’ll Be Back to the Reserve!!

What a perfect setting for a last minute vacation! This was our first trip to Rockport and we could not have picked a better community & home for our crew. The amenity rich community allowed us experience Rockport’s amazing wildlife scenes from a beautiful home just a 2 minute walk away from the pool! Moms & kids were all pleased!

Great base for local attractions

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is filled with almost every amenity necessary! We cooked for 3 couples and had every utensil and dish we needed. The house was well furnished and very comfortable. We made a few trips to Corpus Christi and they were easy. We met our fishing guide at the very nearby State Park. If you are looking for the beach, or nightlife this might not be for you. This place is quiet and away from crowds.

Beautiful Cottage

Rented this property for my Mom's 80th Birthday. Could not get down to Rockport on intended arrival date due to issues with the Artic cold front that week. Location did not have water (At All) the first night we stayed, due to it being turned off because of a water leak/pipe burst down by the dock. Received a call the next day with an offer to move to a house right next door that had everything working properly. This we glady did and the property management team allowed us to extend our stay 2 extra nights, for the inconvenience and missed initial 2 days we should have been down there. Both houses were lovely and my Mom thoroughly enjoyed being able to sit on the back patio and watch the birds and sunsets. Very classy home and great, well stocked kitchen!
