attended a meeting in November a no heat problem in all but rooms first day had a heater in meeting room the size to warm a bathroom cold all day wore coats and some girls gloves good staff who tried housekeeping not consistent with towels etc restaurant not bad with limited menu trying to renovate need direction and management

The Ramada Rochester Airport was understaffed. The lady that took my reservations had been working there for 2 days and had very little knowledge of the hotel or the area. The were holes in the ceiling leaking water all over the hotel. It leaked on my clothing and baggage. The manager was rude and didn't seem to care about the hotels water problems. The hotel notified me late my first evening that they didn't have any towels and they were only able to give wash cloths. The caterering crew was the highlight of the trip but I only interacted with them briefly. The hotel was in total disarray and It was the worst hotel I've ever played to stay in.

I just checked out of this hotel and seriously, it’s the worst. It’s in a terrible part of town. The front desk girls are super ghetto and unprofessional. No joke they made me wait to check in cause “they was on da phone with they friend”. There’s no shampoo, the rooms are super dated, and for some reason there’s a house keeping person that doesn’t wear a uniform that just arbitrarily knocks on your door well before 0800. All and all for this trip I woulda stayed in a tent in the parking lot.

I could give you several comments about this place - the line to get in, the missing linens and toiletries, the heater in the one room being ancient, and half working, the chipped paint on the doors, the amount of ice in the parking lot, the overall run down nature of the facility. But you know what, my comments don't matter. Rather, let me quote the people in front of me at the checkout - "You are so lucky you were in the building, the other building was the worst experience we have ever had." Bottom line - your brand guys. Yours to lose. Doing a good job on it with this location.

So, let's start with check-in.... Computers froze and no one had any clue how to handle it. We waited nearly two hours to get into our reserved room, and weren't even offered a free drink at the bar. I did get a good price online, which kept me from turning around and leaving. I watched the staff get more and more flustered, to the point that they were kvetching at other guests who were calling the front desk about other matters. There was a real sense of disorder and confusion - they were also looking for their driver to go pick up someone from the airport. That said - the room seemed clean, beds comfortable. The furniture was worn and needs replacing.

Making strides it seems but have along way to go. Mostly run down and in need of repair. Updated front lobby, restaurant and coffee area. NO FREE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST as stated on Wyndham website! You’ll have to ask for toiletries upon arrival so bring your own. I used my Rewards points here site unseen and is the only reason I stayed the night. Better off picking a Microtel which is usually up to standard. If you don’t care about less than standard hotel than this is the place.

We arrived after dark room nothing to brag about. noticed the window wasn't closed all night long, no screen as on the 1st floor anyone or thing could have gotten in from outside. Free buffet breakfast was little more than continental. The front desk and restaurant personnel were very friendly. No body soap or hair conditioner to room. Had to ask to have pool opened and this is clearly an un kept area water COLD dirty towels lying all over. The owner unlocked the pool door as a family member is a lifeguard. So disappointed amenities not at all as described. There was even a mousetrap under the desk in our room. Told the clerk at the front desk about our disappointment and though she agreed with everything said there was no offer of compensation. .Definitely will not be staying again and will spread the word to others to be wary.

Check in was mayhem. Assigned room was distance and occupied by other "guests." New room assigned after lengthy manual cross review of available rooms. Upstairs hallway had bad stench. Front desk dispatched a colleague to douse the hall with air freshener. Key did not open fitness center. Five gallon buckets were scattered about catching water, presumably from the roof. I should get a refund.

Arrived at the hotel and a family of 3 was ahead of me at the desk. They were complaining that the pool was no longer heated (as advertised) and that the hot tub was inoperable. They decided to get a refund and move on. My turn to check in... I asked about that situation and the clerk did confirm that those situations were true. So, strike one. After check in, I went to the restaraunt to read the menu and low and behold, the cook/chef did not bother to show up on this day. Therefore, my date and I will not be dining (as advertised) in the hotel restaraunt. We had to travel to a local establishment, which we certainly did not want to do. Strike 2. Then, we needed ice...machine broken and apparently the ONLY ice machine in the entire hotel??? Strike 3. Should be enough strikes, right??? I walked back to the kitchen area to get a plate so that I could slice my cheese for cheese and crackers in the room. On the way there, barefooted mind you, I was introduced to the massive roof leak and subsequent swamp in the hallway. The rug was thoroughly drenched and if I wanted my plate, which I most certainly did, I proceeded to 'wade' through the second Genesee River in the hallway and again on the way back to the room. Strike 4, if there is such a thing. At least the room was very clean and the double shower area was fun. But will NOT be returning there as too many negatives FAR outway the one positive.

Room location was by main entrance, guest leaving the hotel were very rowdy and noisy between 11 pm and 2:30 am Did not get good night's sleep.
