The hotel overall is beautiful, and the hotel restaurant is quite possibly the best food I have ever had!! Seared duck, lobster enchiladas, lamb, mushroom risotto, dark chocolate torte, to name a few. The bellmen were awesome and more than helpful with my luggage and very friendly. The girl who delivered my room service was very polite! The room was very clean and had a working mini fridge and microwave. The girl who checked me in was less than pleasant - she never asked if I was a Hilton Honors member, nor did she ask if I needed information on parking. When I asked her about these two things, she acted like I was bothering her. On a separate occasion, I went to the front desk to ask another question and she was also there and acted the same way, like I was bothering her and that the question was dumb. 1) the question was not dumb, and 2) even if it had been, that is most certainly not how someone in hospitality/customer service should treat a guest. If she hates her job as much as it seemed... she should find another, as it reflects badly on the hotel. The bathroom was really nice - tile shower with glass doors. The lighting throughout the room and bathroom was awful. Very dim, even with all the lights on. Overall, I would definitely stay again, but would not interact with the person described above at the front desk.
Convenient access to Mayo Clinic. You don't even need to go outside.
Very comfortable hotel with easy access to the attractions downtown. The only issue I had was the WiFi cut out often while streaming Netflix and hbo on my iPad.
Easy to get from hotel to the events going on. Lovely rooms. The only negative thing is we need makeup mirrors in the bathrooms.
Only stayed for one night but it was a very pleasant experience. All staff were helpful and pleasant, from the lobby to the breakfast service and housekeeping. Good breakfast.. Room was clean and the bed most comfy! I do feel that you have poor bathroom designs ... pretty tight space with too few hooks/racks, if one wants to reuse linens.... I am a small person and it was not that easy to maneuver.
Very accommodating to us especially as we traveled with a person with disabilities Starbucks on 2nd floor. Very Happy
My room was a bit loud. AC unit, toilet, roof equipment. Also the view from my room was reall terrible. Parking garage and roof equipment. Staff was great.
Great location, close to shops, restaurants and the civic center.
Nice hotel, very convenient to Mayo. Clean, very helpful staff. Would definitely stay there again.
Just what I needed - convenient and comfortable - GREAT staff!!
I've stayed at this hotel a number of times, including when it was the Raddison and not that its the Doubletree/Hilton. It is very well-maintained and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is central and the skywalk means that you don't have to go outdoors when the rain and snow are icy cold. I book here each time I have a trip to Rochester, the only exception being the one time the hotel was full, any my other choice was far less satisfactory for the same price.
I stayed at the DoubleTree for one night and I thought it was a very convenient location and easy to find. The bed and room were very comfortable but a little warm without the ability to lower the temp. The hotel added my Hilton Honors # at time of check-in and upgraded my room. Only downside was that you had to pay for the parking ramp that was attached to the hotel and the Starbucks right outside the hotel was only open til noon (checkout time) on Sunday.
very nice place and great staff and great location. good shopping all around. good food everywhere.
This is a very nice hotel. Very close to good shopping and restaurants. Very nice staff. Highly recommend.
Only had a short stay(2 nights).. Was a very clean, friendly hotel that offered free courtesy car too Shopping Malls...
The Hotel was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The staff were helpful and courteous. The sky walk connections get you all over downtown; everything was a short walk away. In the middle of the winter, we could leave our room and find everything we needed without a coat!
